With his exceptional talent, Joe Burrow has become a major threat to every NFL team. In 2024, the QB was the only reason Bengals fans were so optimistic about the team. With 460 passes for 4,918 yards and 45 touchdowns, Burrow has established himself as a generational talent. But is his own team not making the best use of him? After all, simply one player cannot win the whole game, duh, he, too, requires assistance. But are the Bengals failing to provide support for the quarterback?
That’s what Kevin Clark thinks about the team which he talked about on the GetUp show. The reporter was discussing how the Bengals were completely wasting their championship window time. Joe Burrow is currently in his prime, and by surrounding him with good wide receivers and running backs, the team can undoubtedly make the playoffs. However, they are not doing so; instead, rumors suggest they are trying to release some of their best players. This has enraged Clark, who thinks that the squad will do nothing if they do not plan now.

Clark explained his frustration towards the team, “For me, I am looking at this Bengals team and for me, I am looking at decades of spending and the way they operate. This shows that they are not going to keep these three guys They just don’t spend in a way that frankly is befitting of a contender you can waste aint no Connell’s window whatever you are gonna do with other franchises can do that you can’t waste Joe Burrow’s window and Jow Burrow has said the championship window is as long as he’s there I agree with them.”

These words were crucial for the team, as maybe now they can see what mistake are they making. Their QB Joe Burrow is truly a great talent and the amount of confidence he has in him is incredible. In a media appearance, the quarterback also claimed that the team’s title window is open. But it isn’t just open for now; it will be available throughout his career. Burrow stated, “The window is my whole career. Everybody that we have in that locker room, all the coaches we have. Things are going to change year-to-year, but our window is always open.”
Huh! This man’s confidence gives goosebumps. And it shows how much the 28-year-old believes in himself. But is this confidence or self-belief not good? If we look at the rumors, the team may not be aiming to provide him with good wide receivers next season.

Joe Burrow’s performance may dwindle following the likely release of Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase
Everyone knows the Bengals are puzzled about their wide receiver contracts. The squad needs to sign three players: Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Trey Hendrickson. While Hendrickson is only a DE on this list, the others are also key members of the team’s offense. And, if the sources are correct, the team may lose one of those players due to the contract delay. Other teams would sign these huge talents for a relatively big pay, and that won’t be fair to Joe Burrow
This is why Kevin Clark also talked about this re-signing. On the GetUp show, Clark detailed all that has been going on with the WRs. He added that there may be speculations about the two potentially going to different teams or at least one of them. The reporter explained, “Every other contender of AFC Baltimore Buffalo Kansas City they go all in every head they swing for the fences every year and for me Joe Burrow they are wasting it they are not going to put enough guarantees in Ja’Marr Chase’s ideal for him to sign Justin Jefferson kind of type deal they are going to lose at least one of these guys.”
