Travis Kelce appears to have encouraged another football player to pursue a career in Hollywood. On one hand, the QB Patrick Mahomes acknowledges that his team’s dominance is a positive thing. On the other hand, it appears that one of his team’s players wishes to completely change their careers. He wants to pursue Hollywood and reveal their ambition of becoming a big actor one day. But who is this Chiefs’ star?
Acting was a boyhood dream for Mecole Hardman
This was kind of startling but also accurate. The WR revealed this in an interview and even shared an Instagram story about it. He captioned the story with how he was up for an audition and wants strong personalities to put him to the test.

Mecole Hardman even mentioned rapper and actor 50 Cent and filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry. While this news came out of nowhere, it instantly created a buzz surrounding the fans. His caption to the IG story read, “Yall tell @50cent and @tylerperry I’m ready for an audition.”
While this was a shocking story, ironically, the timing cannot be ideal. Patrick Mahomes recently lauded his players, saying, “I have extreme confidence in the guys that are on that football field.” The quarterback even went on to describe how his team’s players understand how to handle a game. They have won Super Bowls under enormous pressure. And when they can do this, they can conquer any obstacle.
But this wasn’t all; Patrick Mahomes also went on to express what he feels when he steps into the field.

Patrick Mahomes believes the Chiefs have the best chance of winning.
This level of trust in the QB is, in some ways, reasonable. So far in 2024, the squad has only lost one game and has performed admirably otherwise. They are a brutal force, which is why Mahomes believes they will win every game. The quarterback not only trusts his guys, but also believes that their coaches have done an excellent job of teaching them. Patrick Mahomes even appreciated Andy Reid, the team’s head coach, for his efforts: “Every time I step on that football field, I feel like we have the best ability to win, and I think that’s a credit to Brett Veach and coach [Andy] Reid bringing in guys that really get after it and put in the work to be great every single day.”
While the Chiefs‘ captain has been stating all of this, Mecole Hardman’s statement may have been sudden for them. Although the WR is on the bench, he is still a valuable asset to the squad. Him wanting to pursue Hollywood may have scared the fans a bit too. But is he doing something about it?

Well, the answer is YES. Hardman has already taken the first step toward his Hollywood career. He made an appearance in the Hallmark Channel’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. The movie received positive feedback after it was released on November 30th.
It will be intriguing to watch whether Hardman leaves football for Hollywood. Or, start a tiny career in Hollywood and then continue football. Only time will tell if the wide receiver can shake his quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ extreme confidence or not. Stay tuned for further updates.
