This one is going to hurt for a while. This is probably the toughest loss of my career so far. I’m going to just take it day by day and whatever happens, happens.” Baltimore Ravens’s OT Ronnie Stanley stood in a nearly empty locker room when he was asked about his future with the team. With a response of “Who knows?” Stanley described how he felt when his team tasted the loss in the divisional round. It was indeed a pure heartbreak! But what’s potentially coming next for him will surely tickle pink him.

According to MLFootball on X, “Free agent tackle Ronnie Stanley is projected to sign a 3-YEAR, $65 MILLION CONTRACT contract. Stanley is a 2x Pro Bowler and former All-Pro, he is the top available tackle on the market.” From guessing about his future to likely landing such a big deal, Stanley must be elated for sure. But now the question is which team is going to take him this offseason?

Well, the post also tried to answer by calling out three team names that might be looking to take him. As per the post, “The #Patriots, #Commanders, and #Chiefs are viewed as potential fits.” Before moving ahead, let us remind you that Ronnie Stanley will be hitting the free-agent market for the first time ever. Drafted in 2016 with the No. 6 pick, Stanley is a key player for the team. So, why will the Ravens let him walk away from his home?

Ronnie Stanley has given his best this season since he had a career-altering moment – the ankle injury in 2020. This is proven when we look at his records. This player, who signed a five-year, $98.75 million in 2020, ranks 12th in pass block win rate among tackles (92.5%). In addition, this was the first time when he didn’t miss a single game. Furthermore, he is vital for protecting his quarterback’s blind side. Hence, there is a chance that the Ravens would retain him. But his missing 36 games in five years as well as leading the team with 24 penalties since 2022, could lead Baltimore to give it a thought. So, until this is on paper, all are just talks in the air.

On the other hand, the Patriots, Commanders, and the Chiefs all need someone who can help in their run game. Someone who could give the quarterback some time to throw in the pocket. And who could be a better answer than a fit and firing Ronnie Stanley? So, once again he is left with the same question of uncertainty after that divisional loss – “Who knows?” But wait, he isn’t alone. Something worse has come for his teammate this time.

Ronnie Stanley’s teammate arrested?

Ronnie Stanley’s teammate and Ravens guard Ben Cleveland is set to hit the market this offseason. And with his current mistake, his retention by the franchise might be in jeopardy. Why? Well, it’s because Cleveland found himself in trouble last week. He was arrested for DUI in Georgia with a surprising .178 BAC—more than double the legal limit.

This incident happened on February 12 around 10:25 p.m. in Milledgeville. Police spotted him swerving in his Ford F-250, nearly ending up in a ditch. When they pulled him over, Cleveland admitted to having “about 3-4 beers.” But for a 370-pound man to blow that high? It had to be more. Even the officers noticed his “glossy eyes” and the strong smell of alcohol coming from both him and the truck.

Hence, without much ado, Ronnie Stanley’s teammate was taken to jail. Not only that! After his lockup arrival, another breathalyzer test was done. And this time, the test showed .161 BAC. So, he was cited for DUI and failure to stay in his lane.

Cleveland, who was drafted in 2021, grew up in Georgia. And to the people who are unaware, let us tell you that Georgia football has seen multiple driving-related arrests of their players. The list now includes Cleveland. Looks like the Ravens flock really needs some serious tending to right about now.
