So, the Windy City is still not losing hope even after a 5-12 season. They are all-in for Caleb Williams being their guy! I mean, the boy has sky-high expectations of beating Tom Brady‘s 7 SBs. Huh? Yeah, I know right… The start to that dream-chasing hasn’t been great. But, individually, he didn’t have that bad of a season. He threw 20 passing TDs in comparison to just 6 INTs. That’s a plus. And guess, this is the reason why fans believe. Not just the fans, but the franchise believes in him as well.
So, what have the Bears come up with? A plan to raise the season ticket prices by 10% for 2025. Why? To fund their grand plan of building a contender. That’s the sales pitch, at least. But let’s be real—this isn’t just about “enhancing the fan experience.” This is about Caleb. The kid has barely unpacked his bags, and the Bears are already pushing their chips to the center of the table. They’re all in on making him the guy.
Kevin Warren is hyping up a “championship-caliber franchise,” as he said: “The future is bright, and I am confident we are on target to build the Chicago Bears into a championship-caliber franchise celebrating sustained success our fans have earned and deserve.” And hey, Bears fans have waited long enough for something real.

The Bears will implement a 10% average increase in season-ticket packages for 2025. In a letter to season-ticket holders, President/CEO Kevin Warren wrote in part: “The future is bright, and I am confident we are on target to build the Chicago Bears into a championship-caliber…

But is this just another front office Hail Mary, or are they actually putting their money where their mouth is? Free agency, the draft, surrounding Williams with legit weapons—it all takes cash. And apparently, some of that cash is coming straight from the fans’ pockets. Fair trade-off or just another money grab?
We’ve seen this before. Teams sell hope, slap on a price hike, and expect fans to just roll with it. But hope doesn’t win games—talent does. If the Bears are serious about this, they better make moves that justify the price jump. Because let’s be honest—fans have been burned before. After the 2023 season, ticket prices went up 8%, and what did the Bears give back? An abysmal end to the season… Another season watching the playoffs from the couch.
Four straight years of missing the postseason, and now they’re asking fans to invest even more? That’s a tough sell. But there’s a different energy this time. The hire of Ben Johnson as head coach has injected some real optimism, and Kevin Warren is doubling down on aggressive moves in free agency and the draft. With three of the top 41 picks, the Bears have a legit shot at upgrading the roster.
And the home schedule? It’s stacked. Packers, Lions, Vikings, Cowboys, Steelers—all playoff teams last season. Add in the Browns, Saints, and Giants, and Soldier Field won’t be short on marquee matchups. No London games this time, either.
However, now the real question is—will fans be paying more to watch a contender or just another rebuild? Because if Williams struggles and this roster still looks mediocre in December? Fans won’t just be questioning the ticket prices—they’ll be questioning the whole front office. No pressure, right?
Caleb Williams is the guy the Bears can rely on
Ben Johnson is in, and the Chicago Bears are finally serious about building something sustainable. Coaching stability? Check. Now, it’s about giving Caleb Williams the support he needs. And let’s be real—this guy isn’t just some flashy name with a Heisman Trophy.
As Jordan Palmer put it, people get caught up in his personality, but when it comes to work ethic? “We talk about him beccause he paints his nails and does fashion but this guy works as hard as anybody.” Palmer would know—he’s trained some of the NFL’s best, and he’s convinced this Heisman winner is wired differently. If Ben Johnson can clean up the mess around him, we’re looking at a Sophomore star in 2025.
And here’s the kicker—Caleb Williams already produced in chaos. His offensive line? A disaster. His coaching staff? A revolving door. Still, he still put up over 3,000 yards, 20 touchdowns, and only six picks. No, it wasn’t perfect. He held the ball too long at times, and his deep ball wasn’t always on point. But considering what he had to work with? The fact that he was still making plays out of nothing is a testament to his ability.

Now, imagine what happens when he’s paired with one of the league’s sharpest offensive minds. Ben turned Jared Goff into a top-10 quarterback. Yes, Goff. Now, picture him scheming for a playmaker like Williams, who thrives outside the pocket and extends plays with his legs. The possibilities? Near limitless.
Last season, Chicago’s O-line gave up a league-high 68 sacks. That’s not an offense. That’s a demolition site. Right tackle Darnell Wright is the only guy locked in as a starter, meaning the Bears have no choice but to spend big—both in free agency and the draft—to keep Williams from getting wrecked.

Well, drafts could give them endless opportunities, at that position, with the 10th pick. Kelvin Banks Jr. or Will Campbell, both are solid picks. And moves that make total sense. The Bears have their quarterback. Now, it’s time to protect him. Williams doesn’t need to be Superman—he just needs a functioning offense around him. The talent is there. The play-caller is there. Now, the Bears have to do something they’ve struggled with for years: finish the job.
