The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the M&T Bank Stadium to see Lamar Jackson and Co. in the conference championship game. The last time the Baltimore Ravens hosted an AFC title game was back in 1971. So, for both teams, this game is very symbolic, for a lot of reasons. John Harbaugh knows it and commented on the factor of doing their best to face a team as consistent as his next opponents.
In anticipation of this game, John Harbaugh took the podium and decided to speak to the media about what they could expect from the game. By no means is John Harbaugh taking the Kansas City Chiefs lightly and he let everyone know this in the early stages of this media conversation.

The press conference started with Harbaugh acknowledging this week’s uphill battle against the Chiefs. He addressed the fact that this game is too important for the team as the Ravens are hosting a conference game after more than 5 decades. He praised the Chiefs for their performance to this point and accepted the fact that the Ravens were going against one of the strongest teams in the league.
Per Harbaugh, the Chiefs have been in this situation multiple times, they have experience with conference games, divisional title games, and Super Bowl wins. It’s the 6 time in a row that the Chiefs have made it to a title game, asserting their consistent dominance over others. “They’ve been here before, uh it’ll be a big challenge for us, it’s our first time with this team and these guys but we’re up for the challenge and we’re excited,” said Harbaugh as the Ravens await for the Chiefs to show up.
Super Bowl is what this year’s top-seeded side is ruthlessly contending for, but for the Ravens, Patrick Mahomes may become a thorn in the bush and can bring their playoff dreams to a halt.

The Ravens HC was asked about how he was going to deal with Patrick Mahomes, who is slowly mastering the art of cunning plays and how to extend them. The coach added to it by saying that Mahomes is “elusive”, and “unique” and mentioned that “he plays his own brand of football”.
For now, Harbaugh is focused on studying Mahomes and will try to “keep him under wraps” so his team can win one of the most important games of their career. Mahomes and Co. have had no problems reaching this point over the past couple of years but every side poses a new challenge, and the Ravens appear to be in no mood of being treated lightly.
