The penalty call against Taylor Decker has taken the NFL world by storm. The team was penalized for not reporting their mark at 70 and insisted it was 68. Head coach Don Campbell was furious and said the officials were duly kept in the loop. Still, Brad Allen clarified that he and his team had no information. What a way to lose a sure-shot winning game. Instead of making some considerable decisions, the NFL is on its way to doing quite the opposite.

Despite HC Cambell’s take and team stands, the decision stood right, and a mere conversational error cost the Lions the second last game of the regular season. The team has secured their spot in the playoffs after 2016 and will face the 49ers next. They will be relieved that Brad Allen and his brigade will not officiate in the game against the NFC topper.
