When you have Mahomes’ blood running through your veins, you are bound to take an active interest in athletics. Well, showing those signs is Patrick Mahomes’ 1-year-old son Bronze. While the Chiefs QB is busy leading his team to a record three-peat this season, his son might have chosen a new sport from his active list of interests.

Mahomes’ wife, Brittany shared an image of Bronze, and he can be seen flexing a golf club with the caption, “He’s official now.” Although we don’t know whether Bronze will move ahead with a career in golf as he is too young for that. We can probably assume that the kid loves being involved in sports, like everyone from the Mahomes household.

Offering us some insights into Bronze’s love for sports, Brittany added, “Bronze is definitely a sports guy. You give him any type of ball, and he will have the time of his life. He loves basketball. He loves football.” Well, speaking about basketball, Bronze recently showcased his love for the sport, which his mother captured.

While the Mahomes household was binge-watching the NCAA basketball game between the Oregon Ducks and South Carolina Gamecocks, the 22-month-old’s excitement was the moment that caught Brittany’s eye. When one of the players attempted to basket, Bronze jumped with excitement while throwing his arms over like players do. Sharing this moment on her Instagram, Brittany captioned, “This kid loves ball.”

Even Mahomes posted a video of his son attempting a three-pointer in their home, to which he screamed, “Oh! Three!” As his son continues to enjoy playing multiple sports at the tender age of 1. It probably stems from the blood he shares with his parents and even granddad Pat Mahomes.

Although Patrick Mahomes is having the time of his life as the Chiefs QB after winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles. His father was also a professional athlete, having spent more than 11 years as an MLB pitcher. Even Mahomes was seen wearing a Mets jersey to a game in Arrowhead, showcasing the season Mahomes Sr. spent with the franchise.

While Patrick has adopted his father’s arm strength by leading the Chiefs to three Super Bowl titles in five years. Bronze’s mom, Brittany, cannot be forgotten for her time as a soccer player. She hung up her boots in 2017 after scoring 34 goals in college and a professional career in Iceland with UMF Afturelding. Brittany currently co-owns a women’s soccer club named Kansas City Current. 

Well, seeing Bronze’s athletic pedigree, it’s no wonder he is a member of Mahomes household. As Patrick Lavon Mahomes III continues to navigate through multiple sports, we can’t wait to watch him select one to progress in his career. Although we have yet to find out his choice, until then, let’s keep the window open, whether it’s basketball, golf or football.
