The game between the Chiefs and the Saints was a battle. Both teams were fiery in their pursuit of a victory. In the 4th quarter, the tight end Travis Kelce passed the ball to the Xavier Worthy, ignoring Patrick Mahomes. The rookie scored a touchdown. And they got what they wanted. A win! The Chiefdom is pumped.

This year, they are eyeing a historical feat. A 3-peat! No team has ever won 3 consecutive Super Bowls. And only one team has won it undefeated. 1972 Miami Dolphins! More than 50 years ago! Last 2 years, the Chiefs tasted a defeat in the first 5 weeks. This year too, things haven’t been easy, but despite the setbacks, they have emerged victorious.

Travis Kelce is not performing the way the team wants him to. Rashee Rice, Marquise Brown, and Isiah Pacheco are injured. They are on IR. Even then, the team is cruising like a boss. The question is, can they repeat the 1972 Phins feat? It would be a bigger achievement if they go all the way.

Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have often said that they want their TE Travis Kelce and other WRs and RBs (who are injured) to be battle-ready for the playoffs. So far, they haven’t flinched. Stay tuned! We’ll keep bringing more stories.
