It’s old news that the New York Jets are in shambles right now. Per Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, everyone is frustrated with how the team is traversing through this season. After losing yet another game, the 4-7 Jets don’t seem like they can sustain themselves through this season. Amid this, news broke out that Aaron Rodgers is trying his best to return to the field by Christmas. The possibility of that happening would be a miracle. But why is Rodgers so hell-bent on beating his 6-month recovery time to 4 months?
Is he trying to save the Jets’ HC and GM from suffering the same fate as their Raiders counterparts? Yahoo Sports backed this premise, pointing out that the Jets put all their eggs in one basket and made a $75 million gamble. But the more important question is, why is Saleh so indifferent about his job security?
Robert Saleh feels secure with the Jets

One would think that the New York Jets have lost all the stability, from the top to the bottom. Recently, a question was posed to Robert Saleh, after the Jets lost 34-13 to the Miami Dolphins. “Are you worried about your job security?” the reporter addressed the elephant in the room. “No, I’m not,” Saleh surprised the reporters. “I’m not worried about it.”. Even though the Jets are having the exact problems they had last season, Saleh is nonchalant regarding a potential firing.
Is this why Aaron Rodgers is so eager to return to the Jets, to save an already doomed season? Or to keep familiar faces from getting fired? The Yahoo article dubbed the Jets’ decision to invest in Aaron Rodgers as a ‘gamble’. Per Robinson, Woody Johnson knew what he was doing when he picked Rodgers to be Jets’ savior. Some say that his decision to do so might have been influenced by Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas.
The immediate future of the New York team is bleak at best. Even if Rodgers steps in, there’s not enough time to pull the Jets out of the mud.
Are the Jets due for an overhaul?

The million-dollar question is, why did Woody Johnson invest in an old quarterback? He overshot his trust into Aaron Rodgers and now; the Jets are paying for it. The bad financial decision has put a lot in jeopardy. Now, as Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle failed to fill in the shoes of Aaron Rodgers, it’s evident that the QBs are not the only ones at fault here.
Maybe, with all this going on, Aaron Rodgers had an awakening, and he decided to do his best. Or maybe, it’s just a repeat of what happened back in the day when Jets picked up Brett Favre and decided to force him to play, hiding his injuries. If Aaron Rodgers is trying to fake his wellness like Favre and step into the field, he might as well be aware of what comes with it.

If the Jets think they are doomed, faking wellness might just bury them 12 feet under. What are your thoughts on this?
