Head coach Kevin Stefanski gave the update to the fans. He revealed that they were checking Njoku’s progress on a week-to-week basis. The coach also didn’t confirm if it was a high ankle sprain. He has already missed the week 2 game against Jaguars which the team won. Hence, the coach mentioned that the TE would not play against the Giants.

While we wait for an update for Njoku, Garrett’s return will be like a wave of fresh air for the locker room. The DE was visualizing his return. He had earlier said that he would play against the Giants even with an injury. Initially, the DE said that the injury was slowing him down. Now, the locker room is happy with his return.

The rivals are having some tense moments while planning.

Brian Daboll, head coach of the New York Giants, is having headaches after hearing the news of DE’s return. “He’s explosive, strong, and powerful. He’s got a good size. He can run, takes the ball away, and gets it away from the quarterback.” These were the exact words of Daboll. And he’s certainly right.

Myles Garrett was the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year of NFL. In the first 2 games, the DE has 5 tackles with 2 sacks. He has played 99 games as the starting DE. Garrett has big accolades on his resume, which makes his return a bit more high-profile. The DE has been chosen Pro Bowl 5 times – in 2018 and from 2020 to 2023.

Kayvon Thibodeaux also praised his rival and said, “You either have a lot of talent, or you have a lot of skill, or you’re Myles Garrett.” The running back said that growing up, Garrett was his hero. And he used to copy the DE’s moves. Now, the time has arrived to test skills against his idol.
