Antonio Brown is back to his trolling ways, and this time, his target is Harrison Butker! Thanks to his controversial speech at the “Courage Under Fire” gala, Harrison isn’t the most popular NFL star these days. During the address in May 2024, Butker claimed that women have a more valuable role in their households than in their professional or academic fields. The words did not go down well in the world of sports!

A day after his birthday (July 14), Antonio Brown viciously trolled the Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker! On his X (formerly Twitter) account, the former NFL star re-posted an image of a female law enforcement officer with the caption, “She needs to be at home making sandwiches…” Commenting on the post, Brown wrote, “Harrison Butker’s burner account.” It looks like AB’s post was a reference to Butker’s controversial take. However, he isn’t the only one to do so!

At the 2024 ESPYS, tennis legend Serena Williams also took a dig at the NFL kicker. Taking a brutal shot at Harrison, Williams added, “We don’t need you.” Serena’s co-host Quinta Brunson also chimed in, “At all. Like, ever.” Ouch!

Other than Serena Williams, former California governor and Mr. Olympia, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife Maria Shriver also criticized the NFL player. Despite the worldwide chatter, Butker does not seem bothered about his stance. Not just that, the 29-year-old also clapped back at the 23-time Grand Slam winner for her ESPYS speech.

Harrison Butker does not regret his statements

Harrison Butker was also present at the ceremony when Serena Williams decided to put him on blast! However, the 2019 NFL scoring leader’s reaction wasn’t caught on camera. But, the Georgia Tech alum issued a statement later where he expressed his utter displeasure! Though he lauded the former Tennis player for her hosting abilities, Butker also added, “She used it as an opportunity to disinvite those with whom she disagrees.”

Other than Serena, even his teammate Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift was Harrison’s target as well! During his 20-minute commencement speech at Benedictine College in May 2024, the Georgia native quoted Swift’s ‘Bejeweled’ and said, “As my teammate’s girlfriend says, ‘familiarity breeds contempt.'” Despite Butker referencing his girlfriend, Kelce refused to “judge” his teammate.

Does Harrison Butker regret any of his statements? Apparently no! According to him, Butker has done nothing but express his core religious values. He added, “It’s a decision I’ve made consciously made and one I do not regret at all.” With Butker refusing to change his stance, will former athletes like Serena Williams and Antonio Brown stop making fun of him?
