For the Dallas Cowboys, the only constant thing is change. And owner Jerry Jones has proven it once again. Like a bolt from the blue, Mike McCarthy’s tenure as head coach has come to an abrupt end. Adding another chapter to the Cowboys’ seemingly endless quest for Super Bowl glory. They say, “When Jerry Jones is involved, expect the unexpected.” It’s a tale as old as time (well, at least as old as Jones’s ownership), and here we are again. America’s Team hasn’t hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in nearly three decades, and patience is wearing thin in Dallas. As NFL veterans and fans alike voice their frustrations, one can’t help but wonder: Is this another classic Jerry Jones move, or is there a method to this particular madness?

This Tuesday, Unsportsmanlike Radio took to their X account to share that former NFL player Jeff Saturday is pretty fired up about Jerry Jones’ decision regarding head coach Mike McCarthy. He said, “This is ridiculous; again, this is ridiculous. This is Jerry Jones’s model—no different than how he handled Dak Prescott’s negotiations, waiting until the last day to sign him again. I think Mike is going to turn out the same way when they re-sign him.”
