Football fans come from different ages from different groups. The entire nation has a unique fanbase. But no one has ever seen a 3-peat. Not in the NFL era. The Kansas City Chiefs, trained by Andy Reid and led by Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, are on a very dangerous run. They are the team to beat. Only 2 games remain. If they win these, their names will forever be etched in history. It would be a record even they might not be able to achieve.
Ahead of the AFC Championship game against the Bills, the Chiefs HC Andy Reid warned his players against letting any other thoughts come to their mind. He demanded excellence in each department while warning them strongly about their rivals by saying, “I presume they’ll probably be favored, but that’s alright. We do our thing as we go into this and don’t worry about all that noise. It’s a high level of football, and you have to handle it that way. You get to test yourself, close to the highest level. Besides the Super Bowl, this is the highest level. That’s what it’s all about for coaches and players.”

Patrick Mahomes is ready. After the birth of his 3rd child, Golden Raye, he can fully focus on the game now. Surprisingly, he already warned Josh Allen & co. about meeting them again right after the week 11 defeat. He whispered to the Bills’ QB, “We’ll do it again, baby.” On top of that, they are coming off a 23-14 victory against the Texans on the back of a dominant defensive performance.
Another Chiefs stalwart, Travis Kelce, inspired his locker room with an impressive performance in the divisional game. With 7 receptions for 117 yards and 1 TD, he forced the Chiefdom to jump off their seats with a stunning catch from a diving throw by the Grim Reaper. Andy Reid has already received good news. The injuries to the Bills SS Taylor Rapp and CB Christian Benford have already depleted their rivals’ roster strength.
However, they have one advantage that cannot be overstated. The Arrowhead! With thousands of the Chiefdom screaming Chiefs! Chiefs! Chiefs! from the stands, the Bills have to perform beyond their best to change the course of history. But Patrick Mahomes has never lost a playoff game to the Bills. Will it change on the coming Sunday, January 26? One man stands between them and their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, Josh Allen.
Can Andy Reid stop the Bills QB’s personal milestone?

Although the Bills have lost all 3 playoff games against the Chiefs with Josh Allen at the helm, he might create history in their upcoming match. During their wildcard victory over the Ravens, the quarterback had 10 rushes for 20 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. While doing that, he joined the NFL GOAT Tom Brady at the 2nd position in the list of most rushing TDs by QBs in playoffs. TB12 scored 7 rushing playoff TDs in 48 games, but Josh Allen has scored the same number in 12 matches. That’s mindboggling!
If Andy Reid doesn’t stop him from scoring, he would tie the 3-times Super Bowl winner, Steve Young, who had 8 rushing TDs in 14 playoff games for the 49ers. If he scores two, he would become the leader. That’s a potential record he would like to achieve.

Also, one TD in the AFC Championship game would move him to the 2nd position in the franchise’s history as well. He is tied with RB Kenneth Davis for most playoff rushing TDs on the Bills leaderboard. That’s an impressive feat for the 28-year-old signal caller. Andy Reid needs to negate the dual-threat quarterback to keep his date with destiny.
