Buckle up for the Sunday game as the Bills and Chiefs are going toe-to-toe for the conference championship. The last time they met for this title was 2020 when the Chiefs dominated the Bills. But hold on… the Chiefs have lost one game in the last 22 games combined. And do you know who broke that streak in week 12 of the season? The Buffalo Bills. As D-day is coming closer and closer, Andy Reid‘s DE has revealed their strategy for the upcoming game.

The Chiefs’ defensive tackle George Karlaftis was on The Rich Eisen Show where he shared some glimpses of the Chiefs’ strategy. Karlaftis is a 23-year-old DE 2024 is his 3rd year in the NFL. In the divisional game, he sacked C.J. Stroud three times. That’s quite worrisome for the Bills’ defense as they haven’t been allowed to sack Allen for such horrible times. The DE was talking about their preparation for the Sunday game and he said, “I mean, they know us and we know them, you know.”

The two-time Super Bowl champion continued, “We’ve played them a good amount, at least twice every year since I’ve been in the league. So, it’s really exciting, you know, it’s great. It’s going to be a heavyweight battle, you know.” The Chiefs’ defense is heavy but Josh Allen has been sacked only 14 times this season. Surprisingly, in the December battle between the Chiefs and Bills, George Karlaftis and Co. couldn’t sack Allen for a single time.

He also said good things about the Bills #17, “We have a lot of respect for those guys, you know, what Josh Allen can do their running back the receivers their O-line, you know. They’re great and there’s a reason why they’re in the AFC Championship, so we’re going to have to be in our A-game because this is a dangerous squad.” That’s right and the Bills’ defense is also locked in. How? NFL reporter and analyst Albert Breer was in a convo with the LB Terrel Bernard and while discussing their defense, he said, “So we feel like as a defense, if we can get the ball to him, we’ll be successful. That’s our whole idea, our mantra: Stop the run, take the ball away, affect the quarterback, and let Josh go to work.” Seems like quite the warning for the upcoming matchups.

Though Andy Reid’s squad is already in good shape, his team will have to move inch by inch in the conference game, not yard by yard. Furthermore, Andy Reid dropped a nuke when he spoke about their next game. Want to know what he said? Let’s dive in!

But you must be thinking, ‘Why did Andy Reid say that’? Well, QB Patrick Mahomes has a 3-0 record against Josh Allen in the playoffs. The last time they beat the Bills was in 2020, that too in a conference round. In addition to that, the Chiefs are aiming for a three-peat. Whereas, if we look at the Buffalo Bills, it will be their first Super Bowl appearance after 31 years, if they do end up winning against the ‘underdogs’. Y’all know Andy Reid is playing a mind game. He knows how to silently hunt his prey.
