In a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show, Chiefs coach Andy Reid joined show host Rich Eisen to talk about the past season, his team, and “a secret about Taylor Swift that nobody knew until now.” When asked to reveal a good story of Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Swift, which Eisen’s children wanted to know, Reid said, “You can tell the kids that she’s a great girl and they’ve got a great relationship. But for your kids, she makes a mean Pop-Tart, homemade Pop-Tart so as good a singer as, she is an entertainer, she’s also a really good cook so she just doesn’t share it with me, she shares it with all the linemen.“
Eisen also asked if the filling of the Pop-Tarts, fittingly, had to be Chiefs’ red, adding a playful touch to Swift’s culinary skills. To which Reid, divulging her cooking skills, replied, “I’m sure it probably was.” However, this isn’t the first time Coach Reid has said good things about the singer. He also revealed Swift’s treats and cooking skills earlier, accepting that he missed tasting the snacks.
Meanwhile, due to Swift’s viral tasty treat, Pop-Tarts, noticing the growing popularity of their toaster pastry brand, decided to take advantage of the situation. They specifically called on the singer to share her homemade Pop-Tart recipe. Using an image reminiscent of Swift’s Eras Tour to showcase the various “eras” of Pop-Tarts, the company also stated that they would double their donation to the Kansas City food bank Harvesters if Tay-Tay agreed to make public the recipe.
That said, Swift has never been a distraction for Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
