It’s here, folks – the showdown we’ve all been waiting for. Taylor Swift vs. Hailee Steinfeld. Okay, let’s not. We’ll keep it football-focused. The stage is set for an epic showdown between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. On one side, you’ve got the Bills Mafia, rallying behind their team, eager to see Buffalo finally dethrone the Chiefs and end their dominance. And on the other, the Chiefdom holding onto hope for a three-peat, ready to see their team continue their reign. As we wait for the big showdown, Andy Reid has shared his thoughts on facing his rival, Sean McDermott.

It was that time again, just the usual pre-game chatter. Andy Reid stepped up to the mic on Wednesday, talking to the media ahead of the big conference championship game. And, naturally, someone had to ask about his thoughts on Bills head coach Sean McDermott. Appreciating McDermott, Reid said, “Sean does a nice job, um. With that, you know, I mean, he’s got a great, great background with all that stuff, so he does a heck of a job.”

Coach Reid was then asked about how things would go down on the sidelines with him and McDermott, especially with both teams trying to outwit each other. “Yeah, I mean, you’re gonna always give each other different, different looks. The coordinators are the ones putting things together and making it go, and then Sean and I get to stand and watch,” said the Chiefs HC.

The rivalry between the Bills Mafia and Chiefs Kingdom has been building for years, and it’s only getting hotter. The Bills looking to erase all those painful memories from recent playoffs. The Chiefs smarting from their only proper loss of the regular season at the Highmark Stadium.

As Andy Reid was talking about his thoughts on McDermott, he also touched on the injury front for the Chiefs.

But fast forward a year, and sadly, the WR won’t even get a chance to step onto the field this postseason. He suffered a knee injury during practice in Week 14 that required surgery, putting him on the injured reserve list. Coach Andy Reid confirmed on Wednesday that it’s highly unlikely Hardman will make it back this season. “We’ll probably put him (Mecole Hardman) back on IR there,” said Coach Reid.
