Andy Reid has won over 250 games in his coaching career, making him one of the best coaches in the NFL. Despite facing challenges last season with their receivers dropping passes, Reid’s leadership gives fans hope for another successful season after the SB win.
In a recent conversation, Kansas City Chiefs’ owner, Clark Hunt, said some really interesting things about the head coach. Hunt’s remark about Reid’s contribution to the team and its impact is making headlines.

The host asked Hunt to tell something about Andy which is not known to everyone except him as he is in the Chiefs facility all the time. Hunt said, “from the moment he walked into our building, he completely changed the culture, uh and that was the reboot that we need.” He further added, “Andy literally came in and overnight changed the culture. We start off that season winning 9 straight games, uh which was amazing, a team that had won a couple games the year before.”
He said after Andy arrived in the team; the Chiefs won nine games in a row! This was a big achievement because the year before, they had only won a couple of games. Clark said, “if u at that 2013 team we had some pretty good talent on it. We’d had a bunch of guys made the pro bowl the year before but we just were’nt being successful.” Despite the promise of individual capability, the collective spirit seemed to falter, hindering the Chiefs’ ability to achieve their full potential. Per Hunt, Reid didn’t just focus on winning games; he also changed how players felt about being part of the Chiefs.
He made everyone feel like they were part of something special, and that made a huge difference. It is thanks to this that the team is now preparing for a 3-peat.
Chiefs’ remarkable success under Reid’s guidance
The Chiefs have consecutively won 8 AFC West titles and even appeared in 6 conference championship games, all thanks to Reid’s guidance. Furthermore, the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl four times during Reid’s tenure, winning two of the previous three championships. After facing adversity with the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid embraced the opportunity to start fresh in Kansas City.
