QB Jalen Hurts has stirred up the Eagles’ fanbase with his recent statement. The team has now lost three back-to-back games against the NFC rivals and is receiving a lot of backlash for the reasoning provided by their captain. It all started when the 49ers smashed the Eagles 42-19 three weeks ago. The following week, the Cowboys took their sweet revenge with the dominant score of 33-13. Now, their third consecutive loss 20-17 against the Seahawks has made the fan base thoroughly upset.

The offense is not able to touch the 20-point mark in any of the games. Jalen Hurts has scored only one TD during these losses, gaining a major spotlight for his sub-par performances. Against the Seahawks, he was intercepted two times and had his worst performance of this season. In the post-match presser, Jalen Hurts made a brutal admission that does not resonate with the team’s fanbase in a good way.

In the initial phase of the regular season, the Eagles were leading the whole NFC division, which was a pleasing sight for their fans. The sole loss against the Jets was bearable for the supporters of the side as the team quickly bounced back to winning ways.

However, these recent consecutive losses have given way to valid concerns from the fans to rise against the players, especially the O-line of the team. While the supporters of the team were bringing out criticism for the Philly members, it was the comment from QB Hurts that seemed to give way to outrage from the spectators.

After the Hawks game, Hurts admitted that his team was not committed enough during the clash. This comment made the fans come forth to display their displeasure with the side. MLFootball reported the same through its X account.

They broke the shocking news in their post, “Eagles fans are planning a *RALYY* outside the team’s facilities tomorrow morning starting at 8 A.M.” The team’s facility is located just a mile away from the Lincoln Field Stadium in Philadelphia. The Eagles’ next game against the Giants is going to take place at this venue and thus this protest can potentially hamper the team’s practice and preparations. The Eagles’ fanbase has a ruthless reputation, and this is not the first time an expression of such manner has been displayed from their end.

The team’s fanbase was once referred to as second worst by the GQ. This is connected to the factor of the people of the city taking the sport extremely seriously. In the last season when the Eagles lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl Final, the Philly fans stormed Broad Street looking utterly heartbroken. They were seen chanting loudly against the Chiefs along with their team, displaying their utter disappointment.

Matters turned so troublesome that the police had to issue warnings against the out-of-line football fans. Some of these admirers of the game were even witnessed climbing greased poles and jumping onto the shelters of the buses, per Fox News. The people could be seen shouting utterly disrespectful words, soon handled by the PD there.
