Russell Wilson’s luck isn’t favoring him this regular season. The potential number 1 quarterback choice for the Pittsburgh Steelers is having to sit and watch the games from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Justin Fields has been shining through.
The Steelers are on a streak so far and Justin Fields has been opening the games until now. However, things might change in the week 4 game. Or at least it seems that way.
Christopher Carter reported recently on X that there is a slight complication regarding the active roster status in Pittsburgh. He even stated Mike Tomlin’s thoughts regarding how he would like to approach it.

There is also a running rumor that Russell Wilson is being discussed for a trade with the Dolphins. While there is no official confirmation regarding the rumor, maybe this is why Tomlin is waiting on the QB1 decision.
