It has been a tough few days for the people of LA, as the wildfires continue to cause havoc across the country. The people affected by these fires are just too many with more than 130k people being evacuated from their homes, 1000s of buildings have been destroyed, and 5 people have tragically lost their lives. The situation in LA is very sad, nothing like this has ever been seen.

The destructive impact of these fires is quite evident. People have been constantly reaching out to their loved ones, checking up on them, and praying for their safety. Several fans also took to social media and checked up on Fox sportscaster Joy Taylor. In response, Taylor took to Instagram stories to update her fans: ” To everyone reaching out, I am safe and grateful. BUT the situation is as bad and dangerous as it looks. My heart is broken for the 5 people who lost their lives in the tragedy.” Joy Taylor also complimented the work of all the firefighters, first responders, and officials who have been working non-stop to contain the fire and save lives.

Taylor herself has been embroiled in a controversy that has hit the broadcasting world like anything. The past few weeks have been tough for Taylor and her fans would be happy to get an update on her safety.

Joy Taylor, though, wasn’t the only person to react to the fires, as several other NFL players and coaches took to social media to extend their support. The LA Rams team also took to X and shared a message: “Our hearts are with those affected by the Eaton Fire in the Altadena / Pasadena area and the first responders protecting our community. Be safe.”

Both the NFL teams from LA will be competing in the playoffs starting this Sunday. The Chargers and the Rams both train in the LA area and are continuing to do so in areas that haven’t been affected yet. Meanwhile, the NFL is keeping a close eye on the situation there, constantly monitoring the air quality and fire spread in the area.

The big question, though, is about the game between the Vikings and the Rams. Will it happen? If it does, where will it take place? Well, the NFL on Wednesday did speak about the same and informed that if needed, the new venue could be State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.

The NFL, of course, isn’t the only league that has been affected by the fires. The Los Angeles Kings were set to face the Calgary Flames yesterday at the Kings’ downtown arena, but the match had to be postponed.
