I could have handled the situation better. I’m taking full accountability of that,” said Tyreek Hill, walking back on his frustrated, “I’m out,” after the season ender loss. His first season without playoffs definitely left him disappointed. Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel and GM Chris Grier also sorted out the situation with him. But the rumors aren’t dying. The receiver might make a move.

Sportswriter Bill Simmons had the comedian Cousin Sal on the February 12 episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, discussing the potential destinations for Tyreek Hill. Simmons claimed that the WR might go to his former AFC West rival, LA Chargers. Jim Harbaugh might poach him from Miami. What exactly happened?

The receiver denied the Patriots flight straightaway. Someone on Hill’s side told Simmons, “Somebody that was with them was like watch out for the Chargers and walked off. I was like, what do you mean?” The intentions are obvious. He doesn’t want a reviving team. Instead, a team that is championship contender.

Under Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers have played differently. With an 11-6 record, they qualified for the playoffs and looked dominant in flashes in the regular season. Justin Herbert failed in the wildcard against the Texans. But if a top-quality WR like Tyreek Hill joins the O-line, they might be able to go farther.

However, there is another landing spot for the WR. America’s Team! Sal also revealed Hill’s reaction to the Cowboys and said, “After I said come to the Cowboys and then he did the eyes thing like I’m looking at you. I said, you may have to be our running back too. He’s like that’s all right. I’m ready.” Well, things might have changed with a new head coach, in his first year. Also, there’s the Jerry Jones factor. Nothing happens at the Cowboys until he wants it.

The past few days were of rest. Though he didn’t play in the postseason, he did watch the Super Bowl with a sports legend.

Could Tyreek Hill's potential move to the Chargers shake up the AFC West dynamics?

Sponsored by Adidas, both athletes were watching the final from the Adidas suite. But another NFL player posing with them was Micah Parsons, the Cowboys LB. He’s also signed to Adidas. And while sitting there and talking, it’s hard to believe that Tyreek Hill and he didn’t talk about the Cowboys.

Irrespective of the results on the field, they are the wealthiest sports franchise in the sports world around the globe. First to reach a $10 billion valuation! Who doesn’t like money? If Jerry Jones decides to part with it, that is. Well, all the teams have a month now. The free agency opens on the 12th of March. Serious trade prospects would want to get over the line before that.
