Black Friday this year was bright red in the NFL universe, thanks to a nail-biter win that the Kansas City Chiefs got over the Raiders. QB Patrick Mahomes did what he does best—broke records and secured a playoff spot for his team. Wherever the camera panned at the Arrowhead Stadium, all one could see was red. But, one particular person in the thick of all the action was sporting a classy all-black outfit. It was none other than Thursday Night Football‘s Charissa Thompson! Although the spirits were high after the game, the Amazon host was not happy about one particular thing.

You know the feeling when you dress up in your best outfit and end up not getting even one good photo in it? Well, Thompson was in the same boat after the Black Friday game. She posted a picture of herself on Instagram and talked about the “bad job” she had done.

The bad job in question was her failing to take a full-length picture of the stunning outfit Charissa Thompson wore. She donned a leather skirt and matching top by The Sei, boots from Stella McCartney, and a glittery black cape by YSL. Honestly, we get why she was upset over not showcasing her gorgeous outfit properly.

She may not have been happy, but her social media following was loving the photo. Perfect or not, Thompson has never failed to wow people with her game fits. So it’s no wonder she got a lot of love for her “bad job” and her fun hosting skills.

It’s especially Charissa Thompson’s humorous side that strikes a chord with fans. Like the way she called Chris Jones Funny Bunny after his three stellar tackles against the Raiders. While her comment made fans giggle, Jones’ performance made Mahomes smile as it helped the team get the win they wanted.

Mahomes makes a new record as the Chiefs enter playoffs

Is Patrick Mahomes the greatest QB of our time, or is it too soon to say?

Close wins are still wins, especially if they secure a playoff spot for your team! Mahomes proved instrumental in taking the Chiefs toward a victory. He had 26 of 46 passes (56.5% completion rate) in 306 passing yards with 1 touchdown. Mahomes, a two-time NFL MVP, and three-time Super Bowl MVP reached a big milestone in this game, too. With his 238th career touchdown, he surpassed Hall of Famer Len Dawson and made a record.

Mahomes’ TD also gave Kansas City a 10-3 lead with less than 3 minutes remaining. This season, Mahomes had also broken Dawson’s franchise record for passing yards. The Black Friday game is also his 100th win (playoffs included) as a starting QB. So, needless to say, Mahomes is doing a good job, but he still feels the team has to get better. During the post-game press conference, he said, “We don’t feel like we’re playing our best football. Too many mistakes. We gotta clean that up to get where we wanna go.

Credit where it’s due – the Raiders’ defense kept the Chiefs on their toes with 5 sacks (including two in the red zone). And if it weren’t for the last fumble, the Chiefs would be the one committing the “bad job“.
