The whole Lambeau Field in Green Bay was lit up today with excited Packers fans, ready to welcome the team home after their win over the Seattle Seahawks. And when you’re at home, you have the upper hand. Of course, Packers fans were expecting a win today, but a win like this one is the perfect Christmas treat. The Green Bay Packers are on cloud nine after sweeping the Saints with a huge 34-0 score. With this latest win on their home turf, they have now entered the playoff picture. The Packers fans couldn’t have asked for a better New Year and Christmas gift. The excitement to make it to the playoffs is high, especially for the Packers’ DE Rashan Gary.
The 27-year-old was so pumped about the win that he nearly gave ESPN reporter Lisa Salters a heart attack. Not literally of course! While Lisa was busy interviewing QB Jordan Love post-game, Gary caught them both off guard. Sneaking up from behind, he interrupted the interview with a loud shout, putting his excitement on full display. “Stop playing with him! Once again! Push the ticket! Come on, man. Come on,” shouted the DE. His sudden interruption made Lisa go from, “Jordan, you’re now officially in the playoffs?” to “He scared me.” After the DE made his brief cameo and stepped out of the frame, the QB replied to Salters’ question about making it to the playoffs by saying, ” What he said. Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

While Lisa seemed a bit freaked out for a minute, she handled the whole thing pretty smoothly. Looks like Rashan Gary wasn’t done having fun scaring the Saints’ offensive lineup. Gary and the Packers decided to turn up the heat in Green Bay. And they for sure did with that huge win. The game was so out of the Saints’ hands that even their fans (if there were any) probably would’ve switched teams.
Anyway, now the Packers DE has the whole internet talking about his post-game shenanigans. Gary’s video is going viral, and X is flooded with comments from netizens, joking and chatting about the whole situation.

A little fun never hurts anyone. After spending almost half the year sweating it out on the field, of course, players deserve to let loose whenever they get the chance. One thing’s for sure, though: it’s going to be a wild ride.
