Las Vegas Raiders‘ Davante Adams has dropped a hint about his future with his current side. The veteran wide receiver recently took part in an interview, and the very first question he faced was about his time with the Franchise. The footballer had a clear stance to put forth regarding his standing in the team, expressing his thoughts on continuing with the Raiders.
Adams made the First-Team All-Pro two times and is also a sixth consecutive time Pro Bowler playing for the Packers and the Raiders. These records are quite challenging to repeat playing in the same division as the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. Thus, acknowledging his efforts for the team, the football star shared his candid opinions.

In the interview with NFL commentator Rich Eisen, shared through X (formerly Twitter), Adams revealed that he was completely happy to be at the Raiders and would enjoy continuing with the same side. He said, “I am happy to be a Raider 100%. This is my choice and this is something that I’m standing by when I continue to work to make it what it’s supposed to be.”
However he was also quick to add about his emotions, “I am not happy at every moment with the way things go, but I am definitely proud to wear this uniform.” Adams seemed to have a clear insight into his position in the team and his want to continue with the Raiders team, highlighting the same thoroughly through his remarks.
Just moments ago, @richeisen wrapped up a frank 1-on-1 chat with the brilliant @tae15adams and asked him the main questions of the moment for the perennial Pro Bowler: is he happy with the @raiders? And could Monday Night possibly be his last game with them? pic.twitter.com/0EumyHQ4NZ

The wide receiver further clarified the approach of his team, stating, “We just gotta continue to do things as a unit, from the top to the bottom, to just make it more fun.” His ideology indicated a sign of clear understanding from his side about what he expected from his fellow mates along with the expectations he hosted for himself.

But despite his commitments, Adams is justified in having reasons for disappointment with the current season. And he faces an equally uphill battle to change the narrative anytime soon with the challenges the Raiders have in front of them at the moment.
Davante Adams needs to put in the ‘extra effort’
With the loss against the worst Chicago Bears side in history, the Raiders have seen more negative outcomes than positive ones. Josh McDaniels’ men are 3-4 in the season, and to add salt to the wound, star quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed the game with back injury concerns.

Davante Adams had 7 receives for 57 yards and that was not enough as the Bears drubbed the Raiders 30-12. Garoppolo’s disappearance may have influenced the outcome, but the same can’t be proposed moving forward, facing more crucial games in the season’s remaining time.
Garoppolo has joined back the squad with a fit certificate and is set to feature in their next game, but the challenge comes in the name of Detroit Lions. The Lions are the NFC North toppers and started the season by humbling defending champions Kansas City Chiefs. Despite breaking the rhythm against the Ravens, they maintained a solid 5-2 outcome in the season.

Known for their physical playstyle, the Lions won’t be a walk in the park for Garoppolo and Adams. The offensive pair needs to put in that extra effort to construct an upset against the roaring Lions as the two teams lock horns on Monday, October 30.
