After losing to one Kelce brother, Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins are going against his former team once again. Maybe the team can redeem itself by beating the other Kelce brother. Hill has all the eyes on him for the upcoming match, and there are a lot of reasons for it.

A post from Dov Kleiman tells us exactly why Tyreek Hill went to join the Miami Dolphins. The reason is smart and not what you might think of. Did you ever wonder why Tyreek Hill joined the Dolphins? He declined a $76 million offer from the Jets and settled for less with the Miami Dolphins. Why? Hill never wanted to leave the KC Chiefs in the first place. Toward the end of his contract with the Chiefs, Hill’s agent tried to negotiate with Brett Veach, and they came at a crossroads. Hill mentioned he was offered $58 million to stay with the Chiefs. However, Hill wanted more. He got assurances from Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid as they said that “they will make it right.”

After Mike McDaniel and Robert Saleh got wind of Hill’s dilemma, they didn’t waste any time and did all they could to get the WR in their team. First, he got a call from the Dolphins, and then it was the Jets. The All-Pro mentioned how the Dolphins offered him $70 million the first day, and the Jets first offered him $68 million but then bumped the guaranteed money to $76 million the next day.

However, he chose to go to Miami. Why? Because it was his dream to play for the Miami team and second, Hill’s mother reminded him of something of utmost importance, the state taxes!

“The more I began to talk my mom was like you need to think about them state taxes too,” mentioned Hill, clarifying his choice.
