Brittany Mahomes is finally back in the gym! After a long recovery from a back fracture, Patrick Mahomes’ better half has finally overcome the pain and is back on her fitness routine. The mother of two shared the update through an Instagram story with the caption, “back poppin”

Brittany posted a video of herself working out and wrote, “back has resolved so we are slowly getting back to overhead lifts with lighter weight.” She wore a mauve-colored matching gym attire and had her hair in a high ponytail while lifting weights in the gym. This positive update comes as good news for her fans, especially after the worrying news broke out in March.

Brittany had shared a concerning photo of herself with a hospital bracelet and had health advice for fellow young mothers. “Just your daily reminder,” wrote the former football star. “Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously. From: A girl with a fractured back.” Having recently given birth to 1-year-old Bronze, Brittany educated about how mothers should be mindful of their pelvic floor, which might weaken after childbirth. This sometimes increases the chance of back fractures, according to gynecologists, as it is connected to the lower back.

But the NFL WAG seems to be on track to return to full normalcy, and her latest gym update is a testament to that. “I’m doing great,” Brittany shared in another health update with E! News last month. “I’m finally fully recovered and back to doing the things that I’ve always been able to do. I’m staying on top of my health.” Patricks’ better half likes keeping her fans updated and shares glimpses of her life with her quarterback husband, two adorable kids, and two pet dogs. Brittany recently made an interesting revelation about the name of her dog, Steel, and revealed the team she owed loyalty to before the Chiefs!

Though now an ardent and beloved member of the Chiefs Kingdom, Brittany wasn’t always a Kansas City Chiefs fan. In a recent interview with People, the 28-year-old talked about the time she got her dog, Steel. It was when the couple was dating in college, and the quarterback decided to buy a Valentine’s Day gift for his girlfriend. “I actually got Steel when I was in college,” she said. “Patrick bought him for me for a Valentine’s Day gift when I was a junior.”

Brittnay further shared that she named their first dog Steel, after the Pittsburgh Steelers, her favorite NFL team at the time. “So, I actually used to be a Steelers fan and that’s how I got the name Steel, so that’s a great story,” she shared. The couple added another dog in their tiny family, a pitbull named Silver. “I think it was back in 2018 after Patrick’s first year in the league. We decided we wanted another addition.” Brittany couldn’t help but gush about their adorable dogs, and the two hounds even have their own Instagram account!
