Jamal Adams ready to show the Jets what they're missing—will he make them regret the trade?

Jamal Adams is preparing to return to the field, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. The Tennessee Titans gave Adams a major opportunity by signing him, and now that he’s healthy, supporters can’t wait to watch him play. With this news, Week 2 of the NFL season is already shaping up to be quite memorable, as Adams will not only be on the field but will face his old team, the New York Jets.

Jamal Adams returned to the practice session on Wednesday, September 11th, and addressed some critical questions. During a conversation with reporters, the football safety shared his thoughts on the game versus the Jets. Surprisingly, the man who said so many negative things about the squad and its administration upon his departure indicated that he does not hold any grudges now. Not only that, the player even revealed that he does get along with the Jets and respects them after his ‘ugly‘ exit from the team.

The number 33 stated, “I respect the hell out of the Jets. Absolutely.” Aside from his present sentiments regarding the NYJ, the player also discussed his thoughts on the next game. Jamal Adams admitted that he is not at all interested in the fact that the game is against the Jets. He is now viewing this as just another game in which he will eventually return to the field for which he is most eager right now.

Although the football safety has clarified that he holds no grudges toward the squad, it appears that his feelings against his coach have not altered significantly.

Jamal Adams may still be a bit angry with Adam Gase

If you don’t already know, there have been rumors that Adam Gase made the decision to fire Jamal Adams. Although the athlete seemed to have forgiven the team management for his departure, he has yet to forgive his coach. His words in the same interview show that he does not hate Gase but believes he made some poor judgments.

The number 33 stated, “Adam Gase, we had a solid relationship. I don’t hate Adam Gase. I have no problem with Adam Gase, I just didn’t feel he handled certain situations well as a head coach, and that’s just my opinion. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, just like you guys are.”

For now, the game looks promising, and this week’s game will probably be an action-packed one for the Jets and Titans. What are your views on the Titans’ game against the Jets? Who do you think will win?
