Tyreek Hill is mulling over past transgressions and his decision to leave the Chiefs might have resulted in unanticipated jealousy. On Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Hill admitted that a “part of him” was taken aback when the KC team won the Super Bowl without him after everyone contemplated his crucial role in the 2019 season Super Bowl victory.

Though Hill’s move to the Miami Dolphins was shiny, he potentially doesn’t seem happy with his current tenure either. The Cheetah was caught slipping on X in 4K. A fan pointed out a couple of tweets that Tyreek Hill liked, and spectators don’t know what to make of it.

It started when Jason Sarney, a Dolphins reporter posted, “The Tyreek Hill scenario is intriguing. SHOULD Miami decide to restructure, it could lead to $12M in the 2024 cap. IF THAT happens, I truly will start to belive a MASSIVE splash is on the way. If not, the money is rookie deals, perhaps light signings, and 2024 emergency funds.”

On the same post, an account reposted, stating, “Tyreek is a ticking timebomb, deep down his ego is going to come out because KC has won 2 SBs while he has 0 playoff wins here.” This appeared to have caught the WR’s attention as he liked the comment almost 11 hours after it was posted.

Tyreek’s likes displayed two more comments from one common account, reading, “I agree. He only came to Miami for the money. He knew what he was leaving behind in KC and since he’s left there. Chiefs are 2-2 in winning the SB. I remember when fans said Mahomes would suffer without Tyreek. Lol,” and “I doubt the return would have been great as another team isn’t taking on that bad contract. Only the dolphins trade 5 draft picks and pay 30 million for a WR. Also Miami would have a ton of dead cap if they made a deal.”

The Cheetah liked all these comments, and they can be seen under his “Likes” tab on X. Spectators don’t know what to make of this as there is no immediate news about any changes in his contract. But why is Tyreek Hill’s contract discussion suddenly gaining so much traction once again?

Tyreek Hill caught in a grey area!

A deeper look into Tyreek Hill’s contract suggests that the Cheetah might have been swindled. Mike Florio recently revealed the cold truth about his contract and Hill might have had a wake-up call. The analyst called Hill’s $30 million per year deal “fake, phony, fugazi.” Why? Because he doesn’t even make $30 mil in a year.

His 4-year, $120 million deal is structured in such a way that he will make $45 million in the last year of his contract. Mind begs the question as to what would stop the Miami Dolphins from trading him to another team and not paying him that amount of money. Doing simple math, the Dolphins speedster makes about $25 million a year. This year, the Super Bowl-winning WR will make a base salary of $19.6 million while carrying a cap hit of $31.2 million.

And by that logic, Hill is not the highest-paid receiver in the league at all. Amon Ra St. Brown inked a 4-year $120 million deal which will pay him $77 million guaranteed, which is a record-breaking guaranteed sum in NFL history. Tyreek Hill’s contract gives him $72.2 million in guarantee.

Another surprising news broke on the internet recently. Nico Collins, the Houston Texans WR who is also represented by Tyreek Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus, signed a 3-year $72.5 million extension with the Texans with $52 million in guarantees, making him the 8 highest-paid receiver at the start of the 2025 season.

An even more astonishing fact is that Hill’s teammate, Jaylen Waddle who’s had his third consecutive 1,000-yard plus season secured a 3-year $84.75 million deal with the Dolphins. He will make $76 million in guarantees. This is the kind of contract that looks more lucrative on paper than Cheetah’s.

About a month ago, Antonio Brown revealed that Tyreek Hill was working on a new deal with the Dolphins and was waiting for Jaylen Waddle to get his contract done. At that point, fans thought that this was another one of Brown’s shenanigans and that no such thing was going to happen. But now, the closer we look at it, the more believable Brown’s words seem. Do you think Hill is going to secure a new deal?
