Travis Kelce exploded this Sunday! With 89 yards on 7 receptions, revitalizing his season and boosting the Kansas City Chiefs to a 17-10 win over the LA Chargers! After a sluggish start, Kelce’s breakout game was exactly what he and his team needed. In the meantime, some other critics seemed to have some point for the player and entered Kelce’s ex-Kayla Nicole on the scene.

Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex, didn’t hold back when sharing her thoughts on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s latest policy change. The model and media personality called the bill “so unnecessary and reckless,” directly criticizing the decision to extend alcohol sales until 4 a.m. at the new Intuit Dome arena, home of the LA Clippers. “A recipe for DUI’s and endangering the Inglewood community,” she added, voicing concerns over the potential risks the extended hours could bring to the area.

The bill, AB 3206, which narrowly passed in the State Senate, allows a VIP club inside the Clippers’ new home to serve alcohol until 4 a.m., breaking the state’s usual 2 a.m. limit. The exclusive club, with a capacity of only 100 people, stands as a stark exception in the 18,000-seat arena. An official from the California Capitol Correspondent, recently shared, “Gov. Gavin Newsom signs bill extending alcohol sales in CA until 4am in one place and one place only—the 100 person VIP club in the new Intuit Dome/LA Clippers arena.”

While Assembly member Tina McKinnor, who wrote the bill, argued that it would support Inglewood’s ongoing development, critics like Republican State Sen. Kelly Seyarto pushed back, saying, “If they think drinking until 4 a.m. is good for exclusive groups, it should be for everyone… but it’s not good for anyone.”  Now, with her calling out the new law, she brings a personal edge to a public debate about safety and responsibility in one of California’s most rapidly growing cities.

The controversial policy, which still needs local approval, comes at a time when the spotlight on alcohol-related concerns is high. During the breakup phase of Nicole and Kelce, these “drunk” accusations surfaced.

The ‘Drunk’ allegations on Travis Kelce

Country singer and actress Jana Kramer stirred up quite the drama earlier this week when she took to her podcast, Whine Down, to throw shade at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Kramer dissed the NFL star, claiming he’s “always drunk” and even suggested his influence on Taylor Swift is behind her recent drinking habits. “I see her drinking more now. Like, the company you keep,” Kramer alleged, while also criticizing the 34-year-old’s “aggression” with coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl, which she said “rubbed [her] the wrong way.”

The Chiefs’ TE, however, wasn’t having any of it. According to insiders, he was “taken aback” by Kramer’s comments, especially since he’s never met her. “He’s just living his life,” a source told Page Six, while denying the drinking accusations. They added, “That guy is under a microscope, basically being watched everywhere he goes. Of course, you’re going to see him drinking.” The source doubled down, saying if Kelce truly had a drinking problem, it would be impossible to hide given his public status.

Kramer’s remarks didn’t just stop at Kelce’s drinking. She also questioned his influence on Swift, which led some fans to accuse her of “clout-chasing.” One insider noted, “This is what Jana Kramer does. She latches onto people to get attention.” Fans were quick to fire back on social media, with one X user saying, “Jana Kramer can sit down and shut up. How is someone who’s been married more than once in a position to judge Travis and Taylor?”

Kelce, meanwhile, is focused on preparing for the ongoing NFL season. “If he was drunk, it would be a bigger problem,” an insider concluded, shutting down the rumors for good.
