You thought Donald Trump live streaming with Adin Ross was weird? Wait till you hear him talk football with Barstool Sports. This time though, he allied with former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton, and some interesting things came to light. One of these was that he was about to buy the Bills but didn’t. But Trump has a bigger football past that people might not have thought of.
The former President was out there Bussin’ With The Boys and the conversation about the new kickoff rule began. Trump thinks that the new rule is “terrible” and transitioned the conversation to him playing tight end back in the day. Is that a subtle jab at Travis Kelce who seems to be a bigger media darling than Trump these days? Maybe.
Segueing from the new kickoff rule that prevents players from bashing into each other, the former POTUS expressed that he was never really fond of football. “I played football too, I didn’t particularly like it. I played tight end and I didn’t like it. I could catch the ball good, but I didn’t particularly like having some guy that was lifting weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood,” Trump said.

While DJT’s appearance on Bussin’ With The Boys was fun to watch, he later mentioned that he liked baseball. Interestingly, he played baseball during his time at the New York Military Academy. He ditched his dream of becoming a pro player for all that he has now. “I was supposed to be a pro baseball player,” Donald Trump wrote in 2004. “At the New York Military Academy, I was captain of the baseball team. I worked hard like everyone else, but I had good talent.” The former POTUS played first base during that time.
But Trump somehow made it to baseball history in a very quirky manner. He didn’t throw the first pitch at a professional game, and it was the first time since Teddy Roosevelt that a president decided not to pitch in a pro game, breaking a 110-year-old tradition in doing so.
What’s your perspective on:
Did Trump dodge a bullet by not buying the Bills, or did the NFL miss out?

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift make the best of their short time together
Well, Kelce and Swift finally got together after the singer missed a couple of Kansas City Chiefs games at the start of the season because she was on The Eras Tour. Travis Kelce decided to make up for the lost time by visiting New York City and going on a double date with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. But later, the NFL power couple decided to attend the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians game.
“Taylor Swift here with big Cleveland fan Travis Kelce,” said the sportscaster as the camera pointed to the couple who were seen wearing black outfits for the seemingly cold New York weather. Well, safe to say that it was a bye week well spent for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

The couple was busy mingling, holding hands and were engaged in a playful conversation. At least that’s what it looked like as an outsider looking in. He might still have a couple of days to hang out with his girlfriend before its time for him and his team to visit San Francisco to play against the Niners in a Super Bowl rematch.
