But it wasn’t just the visit that scored big points with Mama Mahomes. As the day wound down, Randi overheard a conversation that hit her right in the feels.

Patrick told one of his siblings, “I’m staying till I put my kids to sleep.” For Randi, this moment was better than any Super Bowl ring. “I don’t even think he knows it, but that meant so much to me,” she gushed. In a move that raised more eyebrows, the Chiefs QB seemed to call an audible on his dad’s Father’s Day tribute. While many across the planet celebrated this occasion, it was no surprise to see the Mahomes clan come forth with their small wishes. Brittany Mahomes shared a wholesome post praising Patrick as a father and husband. The comment section was soon filled with love and good wishes for the family of four.

However, Brittany wasn’t the only one who thought that Mahomes was an amazing dad. Patrick’s father Mahomes Sr. also shared a series of pictures of his son and grandkids. Along with the carousel of clicks, he also wrote, “Happy Father’s Day.” But, Patrick Mahomes did not appear to acknowledge the post and it was quite evident from the lack of story or any comment under the post.

Nonetheless, the father-son duo have rarely ever showcased their appreciation and bonding. The last time the two were seen together was during the mega football finale, the Super Bowl, where the Chiefs overshadowed the 49ers 25-22. The two hugged each other in Las Vegas and Mahomes Sr. couldn’t have been more proud of his son.
