Can we all agree Jason Kelce is redefining what it means to be an NFL dad?

Jason Kelce is back on the field with some adorable videos! Here, him being back on the field doesn’t mean he is coming off his retirement. Actually, as the Philadelphia Eagles started their training camp on July 24, 2024, the Birds’ legend appeared as a visitor, who just cannot miss practicing football.

Last year, when Kelce practiced for the season, he brought his two daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, to the training camp. In those viral videos, the father and daughters were seen playing with each other. Additionally, Kelce was seen lying on the field shirtless, soaking up the sun with his daughters playing beside him. Now, this year again, fans can see the retired athlete and his daughters’ adorable video.

In the latest post uploaded by the NFL a couple of hours ago on their official Instagram account, Jason Kelce was seen enjoying his time with his daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, in the training camp. The retired Philly player playfully covered Elliotte with a bucket, drummed on it for a few seconds, and then lifted it off. Similarly, with Wyatt, he covered her with the bucket, drummed on it to make a sound, and then lifted it off, with Elliotte playfully watching and enjoying the moment.

Then, as his daughters seemed to be having fun with this game, they asked their dad to cover himself as well. Consequently, Kelce was seen covering his half body with the same yellow plastic gallon bucket for his kids. This playful interaction continued for quite some time as the girl’s dad spent precious moments with his daughters. The NFL shared this video with a caption, “@jason.kelce is truly the best Girl Dad,” and included an overlay caption: “One of the cutest training camp moments from Jason Kelce,” accompanied by a red heart. This isn’t the first time Kelce is called a girl dad.

In April, when one fan advised the star player on X to soak up every moment with daughters as this time would never return, Kelce acknowledged that comment. Carl, a fan of Kelce and father of a daughter, wrote, “Not sure if you will ever see this. But I wanted to drop something for you since you have entertained me so much this past year. I’m a girl-dad but mine is now 30. There will be times your girls will frustrate you. Remember the times you have now and it won’t matter.” To which, Kelce replied, “Love this advice, Thank you Carl!!” He proved that he is indeed a proud girl dad, who knows everything and loves spending time with his three babies – Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, who is about 15 months old.

Hence, as Kylie mentioned earlier “that no matter what happens with football, how it ends, I would like him to retire when he’s still able to get down on the floor and play with our kids comfortably,” the athlete is giving most of his time to his daughters. And this was seen in the latest camp of Philadelphia.

Jason Kelce gave a speech of wisdom!

Jason Kelce has retired from the league. This doesn’t mean he is retired from football! Keeping the memory of his time at the camp fresh, Kelce opened the camp with players reporting Tuesday at the NovaCare Complex in South Philly. Although many speculated that he is up for the coach’s role after his presence at the camp, dad Ed Kelce hinted that this probably can’t be true as he has some other roles in front of him now. Apart from this, the former football center made sure to hype the Philly players before they begin their rigorous practice.

On Monday, July 22, before players were officially required to report to the NovaCare Complex on July 23, Kelce shared an emotional and motivational video for the team. He expressed, “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence — talent will not. I was a walk-on coming out of high school. They told me I wasn’t good enough. So I got drafted and everyone said I was too small, I didn’t have what it takes…..(But) We are all so much better than you f***ing realize. The human mind is f***ing incredible. Everyone here is here for a f***ing reason, I promise you.

This surely made the day for all the players reported on the field! Meanwhile, the Eagles’ starting center will be Cameron Jurgens (who was drafted in 2022), after Jason Kelce.
