Besides football, Patrick Mahomes is an ardent basketball fan. His support for the Dallas Mavericks is unwavering, to say the least. The Texas native has been spotted in Mavs games on a couple of occasions and now, other NFL stars are following in his footsteps. Recently, Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs of the Cowboys were seen at the American Airlines Center.

The Dallas basketball team has been on a roll against the Oklahoma City Thunder and now they are marching their way into the West finals. Maybe one of the reasons behind this bravado is the fact that they get support from prominent people across the sports scene. Jon Machota just revealed a few photos from the courtside.

Jon Machota’s latest post on X said, “Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs and DE/LB Micah Parsons at tonight’s Dallas Mavericks playoff game.” We can see Parsons and Trevon Diggs sitting courtside enjoying the Dallas Mavericks beat the OKC in a 117-116 nail-biter. The photo shows the Dallas Cowboys’ LB throwing a deuce while the DT sports a sharp attire and a cool chain.

In the context of the game, OKC started strong in the first half, but their performance regressed in the second half, whereas the Mavs displayed an opposite front. As always, PJ Washington, Luka Dončić, and Kyrie Irving remained the stars of the game. The Mavs were 4-2 against OKC by the end of the conference semifinals. Now it’s between the Nuggets, Timberwolves, the Indiana Pacers, and the New York Knicks to change the dynamics.

The Boston Celtics, along with the Dallas Mavericks have made it to the Conference Finals. Game 1 is just a couple of days away and we are waiting for even more athletes to show up and support their teams. Maybe Patrick Mahomes will show up again, just like he showed up a week ago with his wife Brittany Mahomes for an earlier crash between Mavs and OKC.

Last week in Game 3 against the OKC, we saw Patrick Mahomes and his wife at the American Airlines Center, enjoying the game. The QB’s presence turned out to be lucky for the Mavs as they secured a 105-101 victory over OKC. Not only did Mahomes appear courtside, but he also added fuel to the fire that Austin Rivers sparked a couple of days ago when he started the NBA vs NFL conversation.

Mahomes weighed in and said that he could see OKC’s forward Lu Dort playing as a linebacker in the NFL. Mahomes’ comment might hold some weight to them as he is a multi-disciplinary athlete having tried his hands at baseball, basketball, and golf, to name a few. Alas, on the spectrum of support, the Mavs have been going viral for a while now with all the support they are getting from football players in Dallas and other Texas-based athletes. Hopefully, there will be more who join the pursuit if the Mavericks clinch the NBA Championship.
