Although Travis Kelce may have found his mojo back on the field, his time off it ain’t going too well. After failing to make People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive list for 2023, Kelce’s bitter luck continued in 2024. As the Office actor, John Krasinski won the Sexiest Man Alive title for this year. Well, Krasinski didn’t just sidestep Kelce to the title. He even publicly expressed his affection for his girlfriend’s songs from the Eras Tour.

When People’s magazine asked Krasinki to reveal his favorite songs from the Eras Tour. He named two that caught his attention among the others, “1989” & “Lover.” Well, his love for Taylor Swift’s singles was pretty evident when he and his wife, Emily Blunt, were captured attending the Eras Tour in London.

They didn’t only catch Swift perform at Wembley; Krasinski and Blunt were busy handing out bracelets to the Swifties. It was a viral video shared by users on X where the Sexiest Man Alive was holding his daughter Violet’s hand while handing those bracelets. Not only was their youngest daughter present at the concert, The Quite Place actor and actress also brought their eldest, Hazel, who had a black hat and white t-shirt on.

And that wasn’t the only instance when Blunt had her daughters getting Swift’s attention. Going back to April, when Hazel had cut her hair short, Swift was there to appreciate her style, as revealed by Blunt. “She’s the nicest. She was so nice to my kids. My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about.” So what was Swift’s reaction to Hazel’s haircut, “God look at you, you’re just this 60s Beatnik cool kid. I love your style.” This got Emily to call Taylor the coolest person ever, “It was the best thing anyone’s ever done for my child. She’s very cool.”

While Krasinski ran away with the Sexiest Man Alive title this year, Kelce won the People’s Sexiest Podcast Hosts in 2024. But he wasn’t alone, as his brother Jason Kelce also shared the title for their New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast. They scooped in 350,000 readers to find themselves at the top. However, the Sexiest Man Alive title snub wasn’t the only discouraging news Kelce has heard this week. As the Chiefs’ TE found his home ravaged by robbers while he was busy fulfilling his gridiron duties.

Travis Kelce loses $100,000 as thieves ran away with precious items

Away from home taking on the Saints in Kansas City, Kelce came back to find his home turned upside down by criminals on Oct 7th. Although it was initially reported that $20,000 in cash was stolen from Kelce’s home in Leawood. Further investigations by the FBI revealed that Kelce had taken a hit of $100,000 from the burglary.

And that was the only jewellery missing from his 3-acre mansion. As Kelce also lost his first-ever Super Bowl-winning jersey in 2020. After the incident came to light, Kelce was visibly upset to lose those items that can’t be replaced, “Travis got upset as they stole some important items, including his first Super Bowl jersey, and to have someone get into his private home is something he really got uncomfy about.” Well, fortunately, Swift didn’t lose anything that belonged to her. There were designer bags and luxury clothes everywhere, but the robbers didn’t bother to touch her items.

Although no one got hurt from the horror incident last month, Kelce has already started taking steps to beef up the security. While the FBI investigates the case, any breakthrough in suspect is yet to be reported. As for Kelce, he isn’t really going through a great time off the field. But the Chiefs Kingdom would be praying his bad luck stays away from the gridiron as they aim to remain unbeaten this season.
