Imagine how it feels for a single mother who fought against all odds to see this day! Maybe even the word ‘proud’ is too small to capture the achievement of her little Pat, for his mother, Randi Mahomes. However, she still managed to celebrate Patrick Mahomes’ recent achievement after the Super Bowl LVIII win.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is named the ESPYS winner for this season’s Best NFL player. He topped the chart, which included names like MVP Lamar Jackson, and Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey. Hence, to celebrate the big day for Mahomes, his entire family graced the ESPYS event and met with friends, bursting with pride!

On February 11 at Allegiant Stadium, Patrick Mahomes lifted the Lombardi for the third time. And now exactly after five months, the 28-year-old has received the Best NFL Player award. To celebrate this, Randi Mahomes, along with her daughter, Mia Randall, joined the event in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 11. However, before gracing the show, she met her few friends in a Mexican restaurant, Toca Madera.

She re-shared an Instagram story of her friend and media personality, Brian Claypool, who also introduced himself as “single dad to two daughters,” as per his IG. The story had a caption written by Claypool who welcomed Randi to the event: “@coreyreillyy and I had time hanging with cherished friends @randimahomes and @miabliss15. Welcome to LA for the #espys.” After the meeting, the Mahomes moved towards the ESPYS event at the Dolby Theatre.

In a previous story, Randi celebrated her son Patrick, sharing a Chiefs’ IG post that tributes its QB’s ESPYS win. Momma Mahomes wrote, “Always and forever so proud of you.

Meanwhile, besides Randi and Mia, Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, too, showed her support for QB husband on the day of the winner’s announcement.

She wrote one-word, “Facts” for her followers, along with three applause emojis. On the other hand, Patrick too thanked ESPYs for the award, saying, “Grateful. Thank you @ESPYS” on his official X account. Mahomes, who was also last year’s “Best NFL Player” winner, is still in the running for two more awards at the 2024 ESPYs – “Best Male Athlete” and “Best Team” for Chiefs.

However, it’s still not disclosed whether Patrick will be there to collect his awards. But, yeah, coach Andy Reid will be present at the occasion to collect the Best Team’s award (if they win).
