Chiefs players betting on their alma maters is truly breathtaking! After Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s bet, another friendly wager over college football is making waves among Chiefs fans. And this time, the Chiefs WRs Mecole Hardman and Xavier Worthy’s friendly bet has gone viral.
Taking to its official Instagram handle, Chiefs shared the WR Hardman Jr.’s hilarious wager moment. Allegedly, during a rapid-fire live question game, when Mecole was asked a question-“How long did Worthy have to wear that Geaorgia’s t-shirt?” To which, he replied hilariously. “Well, he kind of looked up. Because we can’t be in, you know, stuff like that. So he worked for a good, probably like an hour, hour and a half. I got my video, that’s how I do it.” They also tagged @worthyy on the post while mentioning laughing emojis.
Reportedly, ex-Georgia Bulldogs player, Mecole Hardman won the bet regarding the outcome of the Texas vs. Georgia game on Saturday. Surprisingly, his alma mater Bulldogs defeated Longhorns 30-15. Thus, his teammate and ex-Texas Longhorns player, Worthy had to fulfill the wager.

Reportedly, they both made a bet that the player whose team lost would have to wear the opposite team’s apparel. Thus, the Chiefs rookie wideout had to live up to his word, as a bet is a bet right? Xavier was spotted wearing a Bulldogs’ long-sleeve tee at their team facility on Tuesday. Interestingly, his embarrassing moment was captured by his Hardman for forever remembrance. And, in no time, the hilarious bet moment spread massively over the internet. Just like Mahomes and Kelce’s bet did.
In the viral video, First-team All-Big’s honoree was seen nervous while moving forward to make the friendly wagers. Not only this, the NFL insider, Jordan Schultz also took to his official Twitter handle to share the video. It featured Worthy’s embarrassing moment while making up the savage bet.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s friendly bet
Kansas City Chiefs star players Patrick Mahomes, 29, and Travis Kelce, 35 recently caught significant attention for their bet over an NCAA football game. During the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Cincinnati Bearcats game, former Texas Tech QB and former Cincinnati TE made a bet on the game.

After Mahomes’s alma mater, the Red Raiders clinched the victory 44-41 against the Bearcats, obviously, his teammate, Kelce had to fulfill the wager. Reportedly, according to their wager deal, if Kelce lost the bet, he would wear the opposite team’s Raiders mascot head while recording his episode of the New Heights podcast.
On the other hand, If NFL MVP player Patrick Mahomes would lose the bet, he would have had to wear the Bearcats head at his weekly press conference. But, impressively, Mahomes did not live up to the wager as his alma mater won during the game.

As the Pro Bowler faced loss in their humorous wager, he had to wear the Raiders mascot head while recording the latest New Heights podcast. And, humorously, his NFL brother and ex-Eagles player, Jason Kelce commented on the mascot head. “it looked a little like head coach Andy Reid,” his bog brother remarked. To which NFL TE also replied, “He won’t take deep breaths in the mascot’s head because it is hard to breathe in,” Travis stated.
Later, the NFL’s best QB Laos celebrated his win by posting his podcast video on his X handle. “#WreckEm,” he wrote. And, the entire wagering fiasco has definitely kept the fans hooked for fun.
