The Kansas City Chiefs ring ceremony might be a sore topic for Jason Kelce! While the former Philadelphia Eagles star lost his ring recently in a pool of chili, the Super Bowl champions celebrated their second consecutive win with diamond-encrusted rings. The older Kelce still managed to make a special appearance at the ceremony; well, at least a version of him did!

Brittany Mahomes, who attended the star-studded event with her quarterback husband, shared a picture of a special pin at the ceremony on her Instagram story, asking, “Is this Travis?” The pin bore a tiny likeness of Jason in his now-iconic shirtless celebration along with some laughing emojis & Travis Kelce in the background. The mini Jason in the logo held two Super Bowl trophies the Chiefs have won in the last couple of years in each hand as he yelled ferociously. He wore a Chiefs’ hat, and the details were immaculate, completing the look with his beard and chest hair!

The Chiefs got their second back-to-back championship ring, adorned with 529 diamonds, 38 rubies, and a plethora of details to commemorate the history and victories of the franchise. While Travis looked dapper in a red suit, we can’t help but remember Jason’s ring from Super Bowl 52, which would be lying somewhere in Cincinnati’s dumping ground!

When Jason Kelce lost his SB ring to a chili!

The Kelce brothers finally received their diplomas at the University of Cincinnati in a live episode of their podcast, ‘New Heights.’ During a game segment titled ‘Lombaby Games, ‘ audience members had searched for Jason’s 2018 Super Bowl ring among the replicas in a pool filled with chili. However, the former center’s ring never made it out of the pool, and it was only later that he realized that it was gone for good!

“I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event; they could not find it,” shared Jason on his podcast. “We have still yet to find it. All of this stuff has been thrown away, so I think we can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in the Cincinnati tri-state area. I didn’t think that would happen.” He further said that he would try to get a new one made and has also included the insurance claim.
