Aaron Rodgers has finally returned to the US from his vacation to Egypt. While the New York Jets are eagerly waiting for the QB to show up, there’s one slight detour that Rodgers has to take before showing his face in the Big Apple. From the scenes of an ESPN post, the QB appears to be in Las Vegas currently in the company of one of his former teammates.

He’s there for UFC 303, where people are eagerly waiting for Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka to lock horns with each other. ESPN’s post on X is captioned, “Aaron Rodgers and Marcedes Lewis are in Las Vegas for #UFC303 👀,” and it shows Rodgers with his former Packers teammate. The Tight End plays with the Chicago Bears now and it’s his second season on the Windy City team.

But Rodgers’ sudden appearance in the media isn’t the only highlight of the whole event surrounding the QB. The presence of the QB at UFC 303 draws a reminder of Aaron Rodgers’ attendance at UFC 302 around less than a month back. At the event, former President Donald Trump had made his entry at the ringside, and he appeared to have nodded at Rodgers as a simple gesture of greeting.

However, in an unmistakable sense, the Jets’ star had not acknowledged Trump and didn’t even bother to stand from his seat as the former President passed.

The time when Aaron Rodgers completely ignored Donald Trump

The attention of most people was on Makhachev vs Poirier event of UFC 302, but that was until Rodgers had a run in with the former President. While everyone, including Joe Rogan, acknowledged Donald Trump’s presence at the venue, Rodgers was aloof and didn’t think of paying any heed to Donald Trump. It may have been because Rodgers planned to serve as Robert F. Kennedy’s running mate this year, or maybe because he doesn’t adhere to Trump’s and Biden’s ideologies.

“My thing is [Trump] had four years to do it and didn’t drain the swamp,” the four-time NFL MVP told Tucker Carlson last month. “And whether he just got scared because of what he learned when he was in there — I think it’s very plausible,” added Rodgers in clarification of his actions.

But leaving all the drama aside, the New York Jets’ QB is finally back, though he might have to face the media at some point, and he might be asked to explain his ‘unexcused’ absence. The schedule is set for 2024 Jets Training Camp at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center and the practice will start July 27 onwards. What do you think about this Jets’ season? Is it Super Bowl or bust for Aaron Rodgers?
