Out of the most adorable NFL couples, Russell Wilson and Ciara stand apart. Supportive of each other through thick and thin, they always shower love, be it in their lives, in public, or on social media. That’s what their friend Lala Anthony also noticed when she was going through a tough time in her marriage with the NBA legend Carmelo Anthony.
While talking about the quarterback and his wife on The Breakfast Club in 2023, the actress praised them, even calling them ‘a positive role model.‘ She reminisced about the time when she was married. However, she wasn’t happy in her marriage and watched the couple with the hope that she would also have a similar life at some point in time.
“I’m happy that I’m able to have that example to still have that hope that kind of love and connection really does exist. But that’s not the norm of what I see,” she said when she revealed that most people she had around her didn’t have a happy marriage. It affected her mentally, but she was fortunate enough to have good friends who gave her realistic advice.
