On her recent appearance on the New Heights podcast, Niecy Nash shared just how fed up she’s getting with people asking if Taylor and Travis are “okay.” As she put it, “They’d text me, ‘What do you know about his [Travis’] relationship?’ I’m like, I am not taking on that man’s business.” Niecy couldn’t have been more clear: she’s not getting into it, and folks just need to calm down.

And how did Travis respond? With a laugh and a big thanks to Niecy for being “a real one.” “Appreciate you always,” he said, adding, “You know it’s real, and you know me and Tay are actually happy.” So, there you have it, folks—straight from the man himself.

We have got to understand that with the regular season going on—the Chiefs are actually storming (with a 7-0 start)—and with Swift’s Eras Tour, it’s hard for either of them to be ‘present’ for each other. I mean, they’d love to, but that’s what the times are calling for then sure. They carry each other’s words of motivation for their performances.

That’s not any deflecting subheading. NO! Actually, that’s what Niecy Nash said about Travis Kelce’s debut in acting. It’s one for the books—Niecy recently could not keep this info to herself as she said, “I was born to flirt, so that part is easy.” Playing alongside Travis, who steps into the role of a down-and-out character with a mullet (yes, a mullet), Niecy found it a walk in the park to spark some on-screen chemistry.

Guess he must have used all of his flirtatiousness with Taylor Swift. So, it’s understandable if that part of his ‘game’ has deteriorated. Niecy gave major props to the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, too, sharing that her bond with him is built on “love, respect, and foolishness.” Apparently, the last part keeps things entertaining. But how’s that linked to Travis? Well, it is. She’s not the only one appreciating Murphy’s support—Swift herself has reportedly been super encouraging about Travis taking on this new role.

Now, here’s where it gets fun: according to Murphy, there’s a little Easter egg in the show that nods to Taylor. In one episode, Travis and Niecy make their getaway in a red car—a subtle wink to Swift’s iconic song, Getaway Car. A clever detail, right? (Swifties are screaming in the corner) Not just that, Murphy even hinted he’d love to work with Taylor someday. Hmm… Trav’s already in the show. 

So, who knows, we might just see her in season two! But that’s a big IF. However, what isn’t is that Trav and Tay are happy. And they both are literally killing it!
