With their 15-1 record, the Kansas City Chiefs are a part of the NFL history. They are just the eighth team in the league with 15 or more regular-season wins. No wonder they have multiple benefits this season. They secured the No. 1 seed in the conference and home-field advantage, but entering the playoffs, they have one final regular game ahead. Although the key players are sitting for the game, the recent announcement by the Red Team, especially including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, is concerning. What is the latest update?

Senior NFL reporter Albert Breer shared the Chiefs’ injury report on X on Friday. He mentioned:

“Chiefs post a star-studded injury report … DOUBTFUL: Chris Jones, Patrick Mahomes, Trent McDuffie, Nick Bolton, Kareem Hunt, George Karlaftis, Travis Kelce, Justin Reid, Drue Tranquill. OUT: Isiah Pacheco, Jawaan Taylor, Mecole Hardman, Jaylen Watson. (Congrats, Denver.)”

These NIR category players are told to sit out for Week 18 by coach Andy Reid and the team for a more important upcoming future—the playoffs. So it looks like almost every key player is out of their final regular-season matchup against the Denver Broncos. Breer is perhaps pretty sure that the Chiefs will lose this game. That’s why he concluded his tweet with “Congrats, Denver.” This brings up questions about whether Taylor Swift will attend the Chiefs-Broncos game.

But before we get to discussing the singer, the Broncos game is not an important game for the Chiefs. The reason is that they have clinched the spot for the next round. However, the major concern here lies with the injuries of key players, such as Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, and others. Fortunately, the injured players have ample time to recover. How? Well, with the No. 1 seed, the Chiefs have an advantage of a first-round playoff bye.

Besides that, players like Travis Kelce will also be resting in the Week 18 game. So, in this case, all the resting players need to be very cautious in the coming practices to avoid any sort of injury. Otherwise, it may hamper the playoffs. But this decision to rest the players will also affect other teams.

For instance, the Broncos need a win in order to qualify for the playoffs (and if the Chiefs’ best players rest, the Broncos could win). However, the Dolphins also need a Broncos loss and a win over the Jets in Week 18 to make the playoffs. Then the Bengals need to defeat the Steelers and then, also need the Broncos and Dolphins to lose their games.

Regardless, now that we know Kelce will watch the Denver game from the sidelines, the question is: Will he be alone?

Taylor Swift: Will Travis Kelce’s beau attend the Broncos game?

The Chiefs are wrapping up their regular season this Sunday, but many Swifties are wondering if Taylor Swift will be in the stands.

Well, if you consider her past pattern, she might not. Travis Kelce’s girlfriend has been loyal to Arrowhead Stadium, skipping away games even when her Eras Tour didn’t clash. This includes the games in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Buffalo, Charlotte, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

Hence, it seems that Swift won’t make it to the Denver game, which is slated to kick off on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 2:25 p.m. MT. So, does that mean Swift is done with the Chiefs’ games? Well, it’s not like that.

The Chiefs clinched the top seed, securing home-field advantage for the playoffs. That means in the playoffs, Travis Kelce and others will be back to Arrowhead. So eventually, Taylor Swift might also make her presence known there for one more time (if the Red Team fails to win the playoffs).

But if Kansas City keeps its winning streak alive, the AFC Championship at Arrowhead on January 26 might just bring her back to cheer on her favorite tight end. What do you think?
