The game of football comes with broken bones, concussions, and in some cases CTE, but a bruised testicle? That’s really uncanny and if bad luck had a target, it would be George Kittle. He got hit on his private parts by the Vikings Safety Harrison Smith and more than the 49ers, Kittle’s wife was upset about the incident, and rightfully so.

Kittle went to the sidelines after saying multiple curse words to Harrison Smith, though he didn’t take it personally, or we don’t think he took it personally because of his joyful persona. He revealed more about the incident in Netflix’s latest series “Receivers” Episode 3: Moving Target.

“Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. That one sucked,” said Kittle and added, “Hey Harrison, you hit me in the d*ck. F**king d*ck.” A classic example of how one word can convey two different emotions. But the episode takes us back to the past where Kittle confronted his assaulter on the field.

“Can you just hug me and not hit me in the d*ck, at least?” Kittle asked Smith and confronted, “My wife is mad at you. She already told me.” Smith tried to confirm whether it was something serious and asked, “Was it a big target or a small target?” and Kittle deflected the question, saying, “Oh, I think my right testicle is bruised.”

This game would be the second one, the 49ers would lose in a row as the Vikings defeated them 22-17. Kittle missed that pass from Purdy, and it was a tight gap, so it’s hard to say whether he missed it before or after getting hit. We guess that it happened before. But do let us know if we’re wrong.

Coming back to Kittle, he had 5 receptions over 78 yards but couldn’t fetch a touchdown. Maybe getting hit in the private parts might be one of the reasons behind it. So much for wearing a guard. But Harrison Smith clarified what the matter actually was, and you’d think that George Kittle had to get hit in the private parts in that game.

The Vikings were at the top of the world after defeating the 49ers. Why would they not be? It was one of those games where Trent Williams wasn’t present, Kirk Cousins was on fire after putting up 378 yards and 1 TD show. That incident made Harrison Smith the man of the hour. So much so that he went on The Pat McAfee show to talk about the game.

When asked about the incident, Smith reported, “That’s my guy, too. And like, that’s really the only place I can hit him, though. I’m trying to keep my head out of it. Right when I got up he was like, ‘Man, you hit me right here.’ I was like, ‘I’m honestly sorry about that.’ I’m like, ‘I’m sorry but I have to, there’s no other option.”

To his credit, he did apologies to the 49ers TE in the game. He’s right about one thing: no one wants to hit other people in their crotch and no situation demands them to do so. From what we understand, it was all momentary and it could have been any other part, if not the crotch.
