Real Madrid football sensation “Endrick” Felipe Moreira de Sousa has a famous style icon: Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes. In a recent interview, Endrick expressed his fondness for the Chiefs’ QB, especially his game-day persona. When asked if there’s anyone he’s inspired by for looks and lifestyle, Endrick remarked, “E o Endrick que disse que se inspira no estilo do Mahomes kkkkkk” [I really like Patrick Mahomes. I quite enjoy how he approaches… with the style at games].

Endrick’s respect for Mahomes, however, extends beyond style. The Real Madrid star’s journey to the top mirrors Mahomes’ rise to fame. Both made their professional league debuts at a young age and quickly established themselves. At sixteen, Endrick played for Palmeiras (one of Brazil’s top teams), scoring 165 goals in 169 games. Originally from Brasilia, Endrick moved to Sao Paulo to join Palmeiras at the age of 10, per ESPN. 

The 17-year-old’s talent was obvious, much like Mahomes’ in college football. Mahomes is leading the push for another Super Bowl victory, and Endrick will soon be playing for La Liga club Real Madrid. Endrick is signed on an extensible three-year contract for a fixed sum of €60M plus €12M in taxes. Per sources, the payment was set at €35 million, with the remaining €25 million being contingent upon meeting certain sporting goals.

Despite concentrating on his last few months at Palmeiras, Endrick is modelling himself after Mahomes. As he gets ready to take the world by storm, Endrick is taking a leaf out of Patrick Mahomes book, whether it’s from his on-field dominance or style statement. The Chiefs QB’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, is getting a makeover akin to that of Travis Kelce’s love interest, Taylor Swift. She has recruited Venetia Kidd (a member of Swift’s style crew). Kidd has a stellar résumé; she’s worked with Swift’s long-standing stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, on designing glamorous red carpet gowns and stage attire. 

This new collaboration raises the possibility that Brittany is adopting a more glitzy look, in line with Swift. Per social media posts, it seems that Brittany and Kidd started working together during her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit media tour at the year’s start.
