Guess who’s been roaring this season? The Detroit Lions, of course. At this point, they seem unstoppable, stacking up wins since the season kicked off. In Week 13, they hosted the Packers at Ford Field and no way would they lose at their own home. But the win wasn’t the only highlight of the game, thanks to Lions’ safety Kerby Joseph. The Florida-born Illinois alum has been a big part of the Lions’ success this season. He’s made a name for his strong play, agility, and, let’s be real, his aggression too.
Talking about aggression; TE Tucker Kraft felt the brunt of it in the recent game. Post-game, there was a brief scuffle between Kerby Joseph and the Packers tight end. In a video that’s now going viral on X, Kerby can be seen shouting ‘Welcome’ at Kraft after the Lions beat the Packers (34-31) on their home turf. And honestly, the Packers’ TE did not look too pleased.

The whole beef started when Tucker sent a strong message prior to the game. While acknowledging that he is a dangerous player, the Packers’ TE said, “He’s [Kerby Joseph] taken some of my brothers out of the game, and I think about that, too. So if I get a chance to get my hands on him, you know, playing football.” Well, it looks like he was looking for vengeance. But for whom? Maybe for T.J. Hockenson and Tyler Higbee, who took a hit from the Lions’ safety in the 2023 season, resulting in injuries.
But Kerby Joseph didn’t seem to like the Packers TE’s tone. He got back at him in the best way possible, by handing him a defeat. Not only that, but Kerby also threw some shade at Tucker after the win, saying, “You talking about Mac and Cheese Kraft? Man, I don’t know who that boy is.” Mic Drop? Maybe, but the Cheeseheads might not have liked this one. Well, the safety took care of that bit as well.
Kerby Joseph tried to ease up the Cheeseheads?
After getting on Tucker Kraft’s nerves, Kerby Joseph tried to calm down the Packers fans, aka ‘Cheeseheads,’ in a pretty unusual way. While talking to the media, Joseph was asked how he felt after beating the Green Bay team. Well, the Lions star went looking for his shirt that says ‘Green Bay Sucks’ rather than answering. Even though he couldn’t find it, a reporter had him say it out loud.
Kerby then went on to show his love for the Milwaukee Bucks, flexing his jersey signed by Damian Lillard. When you’re one of the top teams in the league, you’re going to have that level of confidence to pull off those kinds of antics. And he still had something to say, “I’m living good in Wisconsin, man. Y’all better check me out.” Well, that’s quite an unusual way of appeasing somebody. It’s more like trolling them even more after their TE talked about getting his hands on him.
Moving on from Joseph’s antics, the Lions have already secured their playoff spot with 12 wins. Next up, they’ll be facing
Josh Allen‘s Bills in Week 14. But now everyone’s more excited to see if they can lift the Super Bowl trophy.ADVERTISEMENT
