A lot is going on in Travis Kelce‘s life at the moment. After attending Taylor Swift‘s Eras tour in Argentina, the football player made it to the US for practice before the Eagles game this week. He spent a great time in Buenos Aires, as the clips of him singing during the concert and sharing some moments with the singer’s dad, Scott Swift, provide evidence for the same. In his recent podcast, the TE delved into the exchanged conversations and revealed Scott to be more involved in football than just as a spectator.

Moments after apologizing to him, the tight end looked to be admiring the 71-year-old’s footballing past. Amidst this, another massive update is surrounding the duo of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as reportedly, the parents of the two are all set to meet at the next big match coming up for the football player.

Travis Kelce admires Scott Swift days after apologizing to him

During the November 15 episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce made Travis Kelce realize that he had missed a high-five opportunity with Scott Swift during Taylor Swift’s concert in Buenos Aires. Kelce was so excited that he did not even see Mr. Swift offering his hands for the high-five. Visibly embarrassed, the TE immediately launched his apology to the 71-year-old.

But it was just barely minutes following, that Kelce started to praise Swift Sr., this time for an interesting reason. Jason joked that Kelce’s relationship with the singer was harming her dad’s Eagles fanaticism, “You’re going to let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom Scott? this is ridiculous!” 

Kelce in return, revealed that Mr. Swift was also a footballer back in his day, with a commanding presence on the field. He said, “He’s a huge football guy. He played college ball I believe a year at Hawaii, and then a year or two or… I forget how long he was at Delaware. I think he was a linebacker turned Center.”
