Just when it was looking possible for the Bills (8-2) to do it against the formidable Chiefs (9-0). The injuries are creeping like blocks of dominoes falling… And now, it feels like Josh Allen is losing his weapons faster than a running back dodging tacklers. First, rookie WR Keon Williams, then Amari Cooper, and now, Dalton Kincaid. Yikes!

Coach Sean McDermott didn’t exactly bring good news to Bills Mafia this week. TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) is officially OUT for the clash against the Chiefs, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg… Right tackle Spencer Brown (ankle) and wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) are both questionable. Their statuses? Let’s just say, Bills fans are refreshing updates like they’re tracking fantasy lineups.

Now, seriously, how many injuries can a team stack up before it starts looking like a tryout squad out there? The Bills are limping into crunch time, and with every new setback, their playbook seems thinner. They’ve got to find a way to rally with what they’ve got—or risk letting the season slip away.

Take Dalton Kincaid, for instance. Reflecting on his knee injury from the win over the Colts, he said, “Thought I could go, then just didn’t feel good enough to run and be able to go out there and protect myself.” That doesn’t sound reassuring, does it? The Bills’ luck is running dry.

Kincaid also mentioned trying to return to the game with a brace. But it was a no-go. And we see why… He’s out of the important game against Kansas. But one good news is that he can target a post-week 12 comeback when the Bills face the 49ers. Let’s be real, though: without him, Josh Allen and the O are missing a key cog in the machine.

Josh Allen will face bumps ahead, without Dalton Kincaid

If I asked you who the best QB-TE duo is in the league, you’d probably shout “Mahomes and Kelce!” without hesitation. And fair enough. But in Buffalo, it’s all about Josh Allen and Dalton Kincaid. For Bills fans, that duo isn’t just good—it’s the glue holding the offense together. Can you blame them?

Look back at the Bills’ 30-20 win over the Colts. Kincaid snagged two receptions on five targets for 24 yards, even after taking a knock to the knee. Sure, those numbers don’t leave your mouth agape, we get it. But how about this? Allen’s been leaning on him all season. Kincaid entered that game as Buffalo’s most-targeted pass-catcher, making his absence a pretty big deal moving forward.

Want proof of their chemistry? Check out these numbers: Kincaid’s been targeted 59 times by Allen this season, racking up 356 receiving yards and two TDs. Oh, and let’s not forget his record-breaking rookie season. He set the Bills’ rookie receptions record with Allen slinging him the ball. That connection has been a lifeline for an offense that’s struggled to stay consistent.

Now, with Kincaid sidelined, Allen’s going to feel that void. Losing a go-to guy (more like a go-to security blanket) in the middle of a playoff push is like fumbling on the goal line. The question is, can Allen and the Bills find a way to adapt? It won’t be easy. But, hey, if there’s one thing we know about Josh Allen, it’s that he doesn’t back down from a challenge.
