The 2024 season ended in disappointment for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. This loss has set the team back another year from winning the Super Bowl, making it 12 years now. And the major reasons behind their upset against the Buffalo Bills were their costly turnovers and dropped passes.
For instance, who could forget two major blunders by Mark Andrews in the divisional round? The last one with the chance to make a comeback and tie the game, Andrews dropped that two-point conversion. This final moment crushed the team’s hopes ahead. Nevertheless, Ravens’ running back Derrick Henry’s girlfriend has an emotional message for the locker room as well as her significant other.
After the game, Derrick Henry’s partner, Adrianna Rivas, shared a story on her official Instagram account on Sunday. In this new update, she shared a vintage black-and-white photo of M&T Bank Stadium, featuring the Ravens community standing under the heavy snow weather.

Along with this, Rivas made sure to acknowledge the team’s effort by saying, “From the highest of a mountain or the lowest of a valley, I will praise his name. To God be the glory always.” With this, Derrick Henry’s beau expressed her faith and support in God as well as the Ravens, no matter if they lose or win. In addition, she also delivered a message to her partner, saying, “Two two – I’m so proud of you. I love you endlessly (white heart emoji).”
Rivas’s support for Derrick Henry came after the running back himself dropped a pass during the game. He did manage to register a rushing TD but wasn’t nearly as influential in the game as he has often been across this season. And it’s quite surprising too, especially when Henry was seen as one of the biggest threats for Sean McDermott’s team.
How did the Bills stop Derrick Henry?
Ahead of the divisional round, Sean McDermott and his team were continuously asked by the reporters how they were going to contain Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. This question happened because in the Week 4 loss (35-10), it was Henry who took control of the battle by running for 199 yards. How can we forget that first-touch, 87-yard touchdown?

Hence, it was obvious for the media to question the Bills’ upcoming plan to contain the two especially. But instead of answering with words, the Bills decided to respond with their gameplay in Sunday’s 27-25 victory. They managed to keep Derrick Henry under wraps allowing him to rush for only 84 yards on 16 carries.

After the win, Bills’s coach Sean McDermott stepped up and finally addressed the matter. He shared how such questions only increased their hunger, “Our guys heard it all week long. We’re not big enough. We’re not fast enough. We’re not strong enough. We’re not talented enough.”
In the end, the victory said it all. At least Derrick Henry can bask in the warmth of his loving partner.
