Too many close games. And the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes must be feeling the pressure now. He could sense that in the playoffs, they would not get many chances. After winning the week 13 matchup against the Raiders 19-17, he opened up about their playing style.

During the post-game press conference, he confessed that they have a lot of areas to work on and improve. While talking about the victory, he said, “We don’t feel like we’re playing our best football. Too many mistakes. We gotta clean that up to get where we wanna go.” That’s right. Patrick Mahomes was instrumental in the Chiefs victory. He had 26 of 46 passes (56.5% completion rate) in 306 passing yards with 1 touchdown. But the O-line held together to take them to victory. However, the locker room isn’t too pumped up about it.

They have had many close games this season. Starting with the 26-25 win in week 2 against the Bengals and the 30-24 overtime win against the Buccaneers in week 9, the luck favored them during critical moments. But the important stage is coming. NBA legend Draymond Green already predicted that they will lose their first playoff game. The Grim Reaper will be eager to prove him wrong. While the locker room is preparing for the postseason, the fans are making wild theories about their wins.

Have an interesting take?

The close wins have forced the Chiefdom to go crazy. They have also started to believe that there is something divine about them during this season. A long-time Chiefs fan also revealed his newfound belief this season and said, “I’ve been a Chiefs fan for 35 years and even I’m starting to think there might be some black magic or divine intervention involved with this Chiefs team 😂.” That’s hilarious.

Another fan also wrote a similar point, “I never believed in Black Magic until I see Chiefs play this season 🤦‍♂️😳” However, it also proves one contrary point. The Chiefs’ victories have often been labeled as other teams’ mistakes. They don’t get the credit they deserve for their hard work.
