Aaron Rodgers, the legend dealing with an Achilles injury, has been rumored to stage his comeback on December 24. This is excellent news for the struggling New York Jets, who currently hold a 4-5 record in the league. If Rodgers manages to return within five months after enduring one of the most challenging injuries for any athlete, it would be a historic moment in NFL history.
The Jets had prepared themselves to make a significant impact this season, so they inducted Rodgers into their squad. Unfortunately, Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury during his debut game for the Jets and has been unable to play since then.

The timeline of Rodgers’ expected recovery
Typically, an Achilles injury takes 9-12 months to recover, but within a month of sustaining his injury, he began walking with crutches. During Week 6 of the NFL season, in the Jets’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was spotted throwing a ball for 5 minutes and also seen on a headset during the game.
During the Week 8 game against the New York Giants, he was seen throwing the ball to his teammates, and surprisingly, he was walking without crutches. His progress demonstrates the level of commitment he has to the game. He is significantly ahead of schedule in his recovery and could be fit to play within months of the injury. This season has been brutal on quarterbacks, and Rodgers’ speedy recovery is attributed to the ‘speed bridge’ procedure, significantly reducing the recovery time.
