In light of the controversial incident on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Stephen A. Smith applauded Pat McAfee for standing on his own and addressing what Aaron Rodgers had said about Jimmy Kimmel on the show. Rodgers pointed out Kimmel’s alleged association with Jeffrey Epstein, saying, “A lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are hoping it doesn’t come out.” In the wake of the controversy, Pat McAfee also apologized for speaking about this sensitive issue.

This irked Stephen A. Smith, and he suggested Aaron Rodgers apologize to Jimmy Kimmel. He praised Pat McAfee for coming out and addressing the situation and said he didn’t need to apologize for Rodgers’ transgressions. To balance the viewpoint, he showed Jimmy Kimmel’s firm response to Rodgers and highlighted that Pat McAfee tried to clarify that Rodgers took a “dig” at Kimmel because of their turbulent past.

However, considering the possibility that this was just a “dig” at Kimmel, Smith thought that Aaron Rodgers took it too far by associating him with Epstein. “Jeffrey Epstein ain’t, there’s nothing to joke about. I love Aaron Rodgers. Everybody knows that. He’s a bad man, you know me. But Aaron Rodgers should apologize, plain and simple.”

Per Smith, Jimmy Kimmel backed himself factually in his response to Rodgers. Smith urged Rodgers to be a “human being” and apologize for being “egregiously wrong.” Out of respect for the victims, Smith thinks that Rodgers should reconsider his actions.

Now that the fans everywhere are talking about the situation, Stephen A. Smith also gave his two cents on the debacle on his podcast. As mentioned earlier, the scenario is why Smith thinks Aaron Rodgers should take accountability for what he has said and apologize to Jimmy Kimmel because he didn’t do any background check before making the claims and calling it a “dig” later on.
